The iPod Touch 2.1.1 Firmware Restore image (.ipsw) FOR SECOND GEN
How to use:
1. get latest release of iTunes
2. Plug in Ipod touch
3. In iTunes, under the iPod's summary tab - Hold the 'shift' key and press the 'restore' button
4. find where you downloaded the firmware and iTunes will use it to restore your ipod to that version.
