This disk is a bona fide hoodlum sound track - four in the morning knocking over garbage cans music. I'm not sure what happened to the softer edge of Helmutvision but I don't miss it one bit. As a matter of fact, I get the feeling that Well Connected is more in line with producer Recone Helmut's natural tendencies - and this contributes to the honest and pure sound of the record. There's no lying in Well Connected. There's not one note on this disk that Helmut isn't personally in love with.
