Ten-year-old fourth grader Sakura Kinomoto opens a mysterious book in her father\'s study and accidentally releases the magical Clow Cards. Created by the half-English half-Chinese sorcerer Clow Reed, the Clow Cards were sealed within the Clow Book upon his death and represent a combination of magic from Clow\'s mixed heritage. Each card has its own personality and characteristics and can assume alternate forms when activated.

La vita scorre regolare per Sakura e compagni, continuano come sempre a condurre una vita scolastica normale e a catturare le carte di Clow. Dopo aver catturato la carta della Freccia il libro di Clow reagisce e Sakura comincia a fare strani sogni, poi non tanto casualmente si ritrova a vincere ad una lotteria un viaggio per 4 persone ad Hong Kong. In un posto tanto suggestivo però si possono nascondere anche pericoli, specie se vi abita uno spirito inquieto.
Questo primo film di Sakurava a collocarsi cronologicamente all\'interno della 1 serie tv ovvero mentre Sakura sta ancora cercando di catturare tutte le clow cards ed infatti il film comincia con Sakura che cattura la carta \"the arrow\"...
