Nickelback is a Canadian rock band formed in Hanna, Alberta by Chad Kroeger, Mike Kroeger, Ryan Peake and the then drummer Brandon Kroeger [the current drummer of Nickelback being Daniel Adair]. The band is now based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Its name originates from the nickel in change that band member Mike Kroeger gave customers at his Starbucks job—he would frequently say, \"Here\'s your nickel back\". Nickelback\'s fifth studio album, \'All The Right Reasons\', produced five U.S. Hot 100 top 20 singles: \'Photograph\', \'Savin\' Me\', \'Far Away\', \'If Everyone Cared\', \'Rockstar\'. Three of these became U.S. Hot 100 top 10 singles.

\'Dark Horse\' is the sixth studio album by Canadian rock band Nickelback, released on November 17th 2008. The follow-up to their multi-platinum selling \'All The Right Reasons\' released in 2005-2007, the album was co-produced by the band and Grammy Award-winning producer and songwriter Robert John \"Mutt\" Lange, famous for working with such acts as AC/DC, Bryan Adams, Def Leppard and Shania Twain, and the album itself was produced entirely on FL Studio. Many of the albums songs have hit the Canadian Hot 100, such as \'Shakin\' Hands\', \'If Today Was Your Last Day\', \'I\'d Come For You\', \'Never Gonna Be Alone\' along with the 2 singles \'Gotta Be Somebody\' and \'Something In Your Mouth\'. \'Dark Horse\' was certified Platinum on December 9th 2008, only 3 weeks after it\'s North American release.
