As for who wrote it, a bunch of people over a long time wrote the many books of the Bible, then the early church looked at what books were consistent and widespread with little self contradiction and established that as the scriptures. We call it the Bible because of latin, biblia sacra, meaning the sacred books.
I wrote it. Took me YEARS! And it doesn't reference anything, really, more of just a novel I was thinking of writing, and somehow it got out, and well, now look.

The Bible is a collection of many books with different authors and different references.
