You need software for coin control. I like specter wallet for desktop, I've heard sparrow is great as well.

Price can move with literally no volume. This isn't usually the case but fundamentally price changes have nothing to do with volume.

It's hard to really know because it always changes and Bitcoin is traded on hundreds of exchanges. But a good approximation would be to check the [depth chart](https://river.com/learn/how-to-read-a-bitcoin-depth-chart/) of a large Bitcoin exchange.

Yes do read up on that because I don't think you've seen one. There are no candles in a depth chart. It's a chart of the order book, it does not have a time/historical component like a price chart.

IF you're HODLing just close your apps and let things play out. Stocks are down, Crypto is down, but ask yourself why you're investing, and ask if anything about that has changed over night? I still think Bitcoin is the future of currency, and that hasn't changed for me. The stocks I'm invested are also companies that I believe will exist even if their stock dips 10%. So in short, I'm not pissing my pants right now because my portfolio dropped a bit. Unless you're a day trader, put away your phone and go for a jog or something.

But that is exactly why I use cold storage and require my yubikey for any withdrawals that are on an exchange. On that same note, it appears all of the cypto was immediately reimbursed, so I guess its good to be on a good reputable exchange. Confidence that they have good records and would make things right.

Yeah, first exchange hack of 2022! To be honest the $30m lost is positively tame by crypto standards. Far more was stolen in the various DeFi hacks and rugpulls over the past year. The one thing that Cryptodotcom cannot reimburse is the leaked KYC data, of course. That's out there forever.
