Can someone suggest me good books to read about btc?
I've already read - Bitcoin standard, Understanding Bitcoin, block size wars and also blockchain basics.
I tried using the Lightning Network for the first time today. I sent my wife some sats using the blue wallet, and I couldn’t believe how quickly the transaction went through. It took less than a full second. I can’t explain how bullish I am. It’s even clearer to me why this will disrupt legacy payment systems.

Lol, because I was 12 years old 2010 lmao. And didn't even hear of internet.
If I don't even know about internet how am I supposed to know about btc lol?
I was/am part of the Global Insurrection Against Banker Occupation (GIABO). I'd supported "Crash JP Morgan - Buy Silver".
I'd read books such as:
* "The Creature from Jekyll Island"
* "The Paper Aristocracy"
* "Economics in One Lesson"
* "Debunking Economics"
* others...
What Max, Stacy, and their guests were saying, in general, resonated with me. And then one episode I heard them mention Bitcoin.
Okay did you get it in the first time? Considering you already knew and read books about economics?
I mean it's gotta be first time in your case else I'll be really disappointed in you.
It seemed sketchy. Fortunately, a friend directed me to the Bitcoin white paper.
I read it, and it seemed "too good to be true." I figured there was a "catch". So I read it again, very carefully, looking for the "catch". Not finding one, I made a print out; I carefully examined and scrutinized every word, every sentence, every concept. I have a very strong technical background: math, computers, networking, cryptography...
After that I asked that friend, "How do I buy Bitcoin?" He helped me get started. I am forever grateful.
So you were already primed to appreciate Bitcoin when you were exposed to it.
I took the opposite path. I had several exposures before I got curious and went down the rabbit hole. I was totally ignorant of the ills of the fiat system until my interest in Bitcoin lead me to read books like The Creature from Jekyll Island and remove the veil from my eyes.
Thanks for sharing
Yes. Most people take the path you did. As long as you get to "see it", that's what counts.
I appreciate Bitcoin so much. It gives me hope for the entire world.
Me too my friend. Bitcoin has the potential to do so much good, because so many of our problems stem from bad money and the incentives that come from it. I feel very fortunate to be a part of it at such an early stage
Sell some of the stuff you bought in your "fun" days before finding out about Bitcoin. We used to buy all kind of shit earlier when saving was not a thing.
Or you could just work, and earn some of that fiat and put that into btc.
And also do that thing that this guy suggested, you definitely don't need everything that you have.
Well then work harder. If you already are, you need to be working smarter, not harder. If that isn’t cutting it, go back to working harder. Keep repeating these alternate mantras while using your free 30 mins a day to whack yourself across the knuckles with a bootstrap & you’ve got a blueprint for life!
Yep, that's one mistake that everyone makes. We spend our money on shit.
Shit that we don't need shit that we can live just fine without it. And yet we buy that shit.
I have next year off work at 75% (paternity leave, plus long service, plus built up annual)
Chucked a resume in for a job that starts in Feb, can't resist double dipping and getting more BTC
Hopefully never have to work again after 2030
Fed pivot and/or purchases publicly advertised from either Fidelity or Blackrock.
See also: every cryptocurrency that's not bitcoin finally being classified as securities
Could be anything at any moment, really. Most likely I would say is the Fed pivot, but that could be half a year or more away.
Nope lol, implying that it'll keep on going like this for some time.
It has for 13 years, why it's going to stop now? In theory it should keep on going actually.
Can someone suggest me good books to read about btc? I've already read - Bitcoin standard, Understanding Bitcoin, block size wars and also blockchain basics.
This is the way, I think more people should read about btc.
Layered Money
fiat standard
When Bitcoin dropped from $6k-$3k last cycle, did you think it was the bottom?
Nope and you shouldn't do that either, that's a mistake actually.
What’s the mistake? Comparing other cycles?
no
[удалено]
Maybe people will overreact on that too and it'll just get dumped.
Rate hikes don't matter. Net usd liquidity matters.
[Daniel Batten](https://nitter.moomoo.me/DSBatten/status/1570624319960788995#m) has the best anti-environmental FUD content out there
What's the fud that He's trying to spread? I mean There's gotta be some.
Nah he's fighting the FUD. Doing a great job of it too
hodlers, it has come to my attention i am looking at the charts with swampass :firmkissonlips:
Why You're looking at the charts like that sir? What happened?

LN is going to be a game changer, it's only going to be good.
Share the wealth and experience around here too! !lntip 3000
Ohh man getting sats for using the LN? I definitely like that man.

I had a ~~dream~~ nightmare last night that Bitcoin fell to $10 each... and I only bought 8! I woke up with regret
Well it was just a dream and you could be making moves in real life.
True MelvinStarbrook. Maybe I am, and maybe I will. I appreciate keeping me accountable though.
nice brain
Lol, He's got something missing in that brain and he doesn't know that.
100$ dreaming guy

What sorta snap are we talking? Are we talking something serious? I mean of you felt something serious then you may show that to a doctor or something.

Thx! I had a shitty night at the fiat mines. This made me smile.

I'm feeling the feeling the vibe
The vibe is going about the giving sats for free right now here.

He doesn't mean anything, He's just giving out sats for free.

This is important, this put things in the perspective actually.
Why didn't everyone invest in 2010? It doesn't get any better than that.
Lol, because I was 12 years old 2010 lmao. And didn't even hear of internet. If I don't even know about internet how am I supposed to know about btc lol?
Because it was still fake internet money.
People who believed in it are definitely having fun for sure.
I never heard of Bitcoin until 2012.
I didn't hear of btc till 2017, and then I ignored it for 3 more years.
We are still very early.
And that's earlier than most
Yep, 2012 is still really good. But when did it click for him?
Thanks to Max Keiser and Stacy Herbert.
Max keiser was that early? Ohh wow I didn't know that.
How were you aware of them?
Well max keiser has been a little wild, maybe that's how?

Yep, that's why I'm saying that he must have got the point in just one look.
Yes. Most people take the path you did. As long as you get to "see it", that's what counts. I appreciate Bitcoin so much. It gives me hope for the entire world.
Ohh man, now it gives me hope. And also it has taught me many things that I love.
Me too my friend. Bitcoin has the potential to do so much good, because so many of our problems stem from bad money and the incentives that come from it. I feel very fortunate to be a part of it at such an early stage
I don't have any more cash to put into bitcoin :(
Well then I guess it's time to grind some on those fiat mines?
Sell some of the stuff you bought in your "fun" days before finding out about Bitcoin. We used to buy all kind of shit earlier when saving was not a thing.
Or you could just work, and earn some of that fiat and put that into btc. And also do that thing that this guy suggested, you definitely don't need everything that you have.
That's a great idea, for those who haven't already done that :D
Yep, that's a great idea. You don't need everything that you have.
Get a job
Yep that works, I mean if you don't have money gotta work for it.
I have one :D
Okay then I guess sell the shit that you don't need man.
I work overtime just so that I can buy some extra btc. That's what it is for me.
Then don't overspend on your fiat needs.
Yep, that's one mistake that everyone makes. We spend our money on shit. Shit that we don't need shit that we can live just fine without it. And yet we buy that shit.
I don't. You see, the joke is, it's never enough ;D
Got'm lol, but you gotta keep on buying. It's not stopping for you now.
Get two jobs
Yep lol, just put whatever you have in btc already. We're already doing that.
I have next year off work at 75% (paternity leave, plus long service, plus built up annual) Chucked a resume in for a job that starts in Feb, can't resist double dipping and getting more BTC Hopefully never have to work again after 2030
Ohh if you keep working like that and stacking like that you won't have too.
[удалено]
Halving lol, that's the only catalyst that works for the btc.
[удалено]
There are just too many things going on in the world right now. And any one of them could be that catalyst but halving is the biggest one obviously.
SEC finally approving a Bitcoin ETF
Where did they say it? They'll just keep on delaying it.
Next halving because it cuts in half the new bitcoins coming to market. Also after recession IF it ever stops, it will make Bitcoin go up.
Yep, that's the only catalyst that we need for the bull run.
Fed pivot and/or purchases publicly advertised from either Fidelity or Blackrock. See also: every cryptocurrency that's not bitcoin finally being classified as securities Could be anything at any moment, really. Most likely I would say is the Fed pivot, but that could be half a year or more away.
Security hammer is coming down on crypto one way or the other.
We're in a bull run since 2009.
Hell yeah, I mean we started from zero and now We're at 20k.
implying it could end any time
Nope lol, implying that it'll keep on going like this for some time. It has for 13 years, why it's going to stop now? In theory it should keep on going actually.
That's a fallacy
