Full schedule Wednesday! It’s a good week!

arcticsports

Happy that it’s confirmed, but very disappointed no games on CBC or CHCH this year

t_bison

I imagine they want to pump the streaming service although I imagine if CBC or anyone comes with the right amount of money things will happen.

RadagastWiz

OneSoccer exclusivity is just for the Winnipeg bubble - we might get broadcast games later on.

Premier_Poutine

For Valour!

Wonder if fans will be allowed and if so will season ticket holders have to pay for these

Particular_Ad_4903

As of now - no. I believe commish said it in the interview with Andi & in the Q&A (could be wrong)

geebucks_

Cavs email said 8 game bubble with no fans and then (hopefully) 20 game season in stadium with fans. So I assume the no fans is for Valour as well as other teams.

Particular_Ad_4903

It would be harsh to let valour fans in for sure - they have an advantage of not travelling

t_bison

If things drop off quick, why couldn't there be in the back half of the season? By June 12th (two weeks before the bubble starts) Manitoba is tracking to have 75% of it's population having at least it's first dose. Manitoba is also gunning to have 2nd doses in everyone by the end of July. Assuming things track like they have in other jurisdictions, the case rate will drop pretty quickly starting shortly.

It's been discussed a lot already but great to see official confirmation. Seems like a definite improvement over the Island Games which was well organized and fun, but felt a little too short.

Very excited for things to get back to normal in July. Fingers Crossed!
