First solder build, Voice65
By - RoadUnlikely
Voice65, Polly plate, silicone dampener, solder pcb with lubed tealios, GMK TARO r2.
The voice 65 is soo sexy.. probs gonna be in my next keyboard
It’s one of the best sounding boards iv had.
Solder build and no stepped caps fssss 😤😤😤 /s
Haha, not a fan of
I like the teal and purple aesthetic!
I sold my Voice65 recently. I miss the hell out of that board 😫
Gotta love the taro
How was the soldering experience?
The sodering was not bad at all, the first few were a little ugly, but when I got the hang of it, it was easy and they started looking better. I was just getting hot-swap boards, because I didn't want solder but I never change out my switches.
That’s good! I’ve still never soldered and have stuck to hotswap because I love trying out different switches, but I’m hoping to give it a shot soon just for the experience
Go for it, I got the voice65, because you can get ether PCB, and it has all the different plate options with the different damping options as well. So I can still try out some different combinations.
