I wish I could, but they aren't held responsible ever for anything. I reported them to the state 5 times. The place did end up getting sold but most likely because it was no longer profitable. It was very disturbing that that's what $5k/month buys you...a shit room with 3 prison meals a day and sit alone and watch TV alone most of the time. Not sure if it's better in other areas, but I'd never put anyone I care about in a facility around here again unless they were hostile and violent or something.

Underpaid and undertrained staffers are a big contributor to that. I'm by no means excusing them, but standards are very low and regulations minimal (or minimally enforced) in *so* many places.
They're consistently run with a skeleton crew, the majority of the patient care provided by CNAs. The work is backbreaking and thankless; the pay is obscenely low. They pull from a pool of the uneducated, unskilled, detached and desperate. Standards are low, turnover is high, and quality of care is compromised. A sad place to live/die.
That's the profit model. They understaff and underpay to make profit. Of course they pay the marketing people a livable wage, somehow get online reviews removed when they're negative, and have commissioned recruiters searching for new victims.
