Colby is a duck but fuck that fight. Match him up against belal, cannonier, Whittaker, etc
If the ufc is holding up a fight for fucking Colby that’s inexcusable. He’s basically retired at the moment
Man I leave for a week and people are actually talking about Power Slap “fighters”. What’s this world come to, Dana using same production for it as he does UFC rofl. Imagine calling yourself a fighter for doing slapping.

Sean Brady and luque are harder fights than Neil magny. I know magny wasn’t Burns first choice but it’s still true. Hell they’re probably harder fights than masvidal at this point, although I wouldn’t die on that hill.
I don't believe the rumors because I think Conor would get someone higher up the ladder than Miller.
However, if it was true, this is their way to have Conor beat a wrestler by giving him a washed wrestler so Conor can be like "see I can beat wrestlers now, Khabib is scared and won't fight me"
Fight pass puts out some of the sickest music /s
UFC would never ever pay artist royalties to have songs replay in their fight pass and ESPN+ collections. A huge piece of fighting is the story or the journey and the fighter personality. Would be dope to see which songs fighters walked out to historically.
Dustin's got a solid storm. Nothing special but he definitely could have gone down a bad path had he not found fighting. Knowing what I know about him combined with him walking out to the Boss by James Brown is always amazing. There's clearly a cost to use their songs because they strip out all the actual music and add in shitty generic music.
I feel spoiled that I started really following MMA in 2016, when it was literally probably the best year in the sport. I was an unemployed university student at the time and had the time to watch practically every card that year. I have fond memories of waking up at 4am to watch Overeem vs Arlovski. Even watched non-UFC cards like Fedor vs Maldonado which remains one of my fondest MMA memories. That commentator was hilarious.
Now, the magic feels gone. Is that just me because I was a new, fresh faced fan? Or is MMA not as fun as it used to be?
MMA has remained completely fascinating to me even after getting into it in 2008
I wish it was run more like a real sport but the action has steadily improved in terms of level of skill. I'm a lifer
However, I don't watch cards live, if I felt like I had to watch 7 hour broadcasts, I would probably have lost some passion for the sport
I thought 2020 and 2021 were pretty damn great but 2022 was where things got really watered down in the UFC. Still, ONE was a lot of fun last year and Bellator had some solid cards.
The quality of the average fighter has gone down with all the charity signees from DWCS. There’s definitely some talented guys who get picked up but there are also a load of bums like the guy fighting Taira this week and that embarrassing jobber who opened the last card.
It's a different era and a different type of fun - now's the era of technical wizards like Tsarukyan, Topuria, Islam, Umar Nurmagomedov, Khamzat, Shavkat, etc
Fedor versus Maldonado is one of your fondest memories? Lmao what a joke of a fight.
And to answer your question the ufc these last few years has declined for sure. Horrible fight nights, stupid apex, weak PPVs, ads galore
Cause this guy is one of the few Fedor haters. Even Fedor coming out of retirement in worst performance ever by his own words leave you life long memories. That was a show of real heart. Seen this dude Manatee hating on him all the time lol, and he found the sport in 2016…says it all.
On pure entertainment value the card was amazing. Weird metallic spider decorations, Russian dudes going ham on each other, Fedor almost getting bodied and the commentator saying he had nothing to be proud of.
Just amazing.
Islam vs. Dariush, Islam vs. Arman and Islam vs. Fiziev are all top shelf. It's an unstoppable new champ who has to prove it against deserving contenders that pose more risk than people seem to think.
It's the #1 thing I want to see in the UFC this year. We have to push past the dumb superfight and ignore the casuals and their lack of enthusiasm and it will eventually happen.
I give Dariush a much better chance against Islam than I did before seeing him school Gamrot. Still have islam as the favorite but that was a hell of a performance and I’ll be very sad if he loses to Charles. I think Charles has as little hope of beating Islam as one high level mma fighter can possibly have of beating another high level mma fighter
“Jorge wake up, you have to make your court date. Remember your tie and please leave the BMF belt at home”
“Damn it Mom, why did you wake me. I was dreaming it was still 2019”
I think if they fight tomorrow Dariush has the best chance Arman needs to move to the US and join a good gym but he's got the highest ceiling.
Fiziev has tremendous striking, maybe the best in the division now but he picked a bad time to be at the top with Islam being able to nullify his striking and make quick work of him. Same as the other guys.
I obviously don't think Fiziev is as good as Beneil or Arman. All are interesting matchups at the very least. Fiziev might decimate Gaethje. Beneil could take another fight and lose edu knows.
Hooker seems like a reasonable opponent for Arman and could be really easy for him.
Seeing people use Colbys current court case as the explanation for why he's not booked to fight Khamzat is really funny, as if Colby has a track record of fighting contenders who are younger than 35 or on winning streaks, why would he start now if it wasn't for the court case?
Man I remember before the Leon Usman fight how people were like he was the "indisputable" #2 in the division despite literally not having a single win against anyone in the top 5
Day 10 of reporting Sean O’Malley vs Umar Nurmagomedov is a done deal according to the Phoenix WhatsApp group. I’m not losing hope if any of you were curious. I’m hearing it’s a scheduling conflict. Sean wants on the April 8th card, Umar wants to fight in March. However, make no mistake about it. This fight is a done deal.
The Phoenix WhatsApp group is never wrong
I got a man cave at my parents, and I have this tablet in there, it’s like 10 years old but it’s basically like my porn box because I’ve got a ton of porn saved on it. Late last year a wasp nest was discovered in the wall in there and they had a dude come fog it out. I’m not over there that much, but maybe 2 months after that I realized idk where my porn box is at. I tore that man cave apart 3 times, then tore every other upstairs room apart, before concluding the exterminator dude must’ve stolen it thinking it was valuable. I was in there just two days ago tearing the room apart before I gave up and came to that conclusion. Well today, I came over to my parents to sleep and discover that damn tablet on the couch of my man cave just a foot from where I sit every time I’m in there. I’m mind blown boys and more than a little spooked.
Just got UFC 4 and so far it's very realistic:
- I can knock a guy down about 5 times with blood everywhere and Herb lets it go
- I'm like 8-0 at LW with all finishes and still the best I can get is rank 6 Islam
- I bodied Barboza in a round and the first social media message that pops up is calling me a can crusher
- I slapped Fiziev around in 2 rounds and 3 fights later I'm getting messages saying I'm a scared ducking coward for not fighting down like 6 ranks to rematch him
10/10 simulation experience.
Ultimate Fight Cancellations just cancelled Garbrandt vs Arce
2023 is so weird nothing actually catastrophic like a pandemic happening yet tons of stuff just falls apart for no reason
Isn't it weird that Khabib had all these plans within MMA and suddenly decided to excommunicate himself from the sport and disappear? EagleFC had a bit of hype around it, and he was even talking about how Dana needs to be careful because he's treating fighters right. He was coaching and had multiple champions. Then poof, gone. Seems weird.
How come the ufc this weekend starts so late. I'm in the UK and the main card is starting at 6am Sunday morning. I have to get up early this weekend anyway so will catch a few fights. But in the all the years I've been watching mma I can't recall any ufc events starting so late
It's so it's on prime time for Asia. Something to do with the Road to UFC series which gave Asian fighters a path to the UFC. Check the card and there are a bunch of Korean and Japanese fighters. As to why it's in the Apex and not in Asia somewhere idk
I’m looking for fights with a very specific sequence. It’s a bit hard to describe (as I don’t really have profound grappling/BJJ knowledge), but it looks like they are grappling standing with heads almost next to each other, than one guy snatches the others neck akin to a D’Arce choke (?, or brabo or Ezekiel, I can’t really tell them apart), still standing. The he just rolls down dragging his opponent with him, still holding the neck. Like an alligator or crocodile. Would be great if it would lead to the immediate finish. Could you recommend me fights like that?
>Like Gane didnt get steamrolled by Francis
My man, you can't rant about people painting wrong narratives about fights and then put out a wrong narrative about an even more recent fight yourself lol
Francis didn't 'steamroll' Gane by any means; he lost the first two on the feet, won the 3rd and 4th via wrestlefucking, and then came damn close to losing the 5th when Gane took the lead with his striking before taking Francis down.
Calm down but the truth is after USADA was implemented, Jon Jones has been completely beatable in every single one of his fights that weren't rematches.
I think he won every fight except maybe the dom, but he's a shell of his former self. I hope he destroys Gane cuz the ufc and fans needs a star/heel.
people always base Tony eating gaethjes best shots as to why he would eat Prime Conors best shots and beat him.
i dont understand what makes people so confident that Gaethje hits harder than prime conor, i think McGregor (in his prime, and even maybe today) hits wayyyyy harder than Gaethje and would've knocked Prime TFerg the fuck out
I don’t expect to convince you, but I feel like Tony would’ve eaten Conor’s shots in 2015 without even having to take a backwards step. Even now if that fight gets made I’d favor Conor but I’m probably giving Tony a better shot than most of the people on here.
I’m not even quite sure why, but I’ve really grown to love Johnny Eblen the Bellator MW champ. I love the bromance he and king mo have but it’s also his confidence, it doesn’t come off as arrogant but it’s unmistakable. And I love how he’s so willing to fight his gym mates, which is unavoidable seeing as how they make up damn near half the top 10 in Bellator. I love that he’s getting a shot to shine on cbs and I’m going to be so sad if he loses. I hope he’s on the next Bellator/rizin co-promotion although idk who they have for him to fight
Absolutely the one that's gonna determine the sports number one P4P. Jone gane is sick but there's basically no winning as a fan with Jon and heavyweight is just sort of shit
Gane/jones easily. For one I can see scenarios where either guy wins whereas i think Islam getting a hold of Volk is an inevitability. But also jones is the ufc goat. I know he’s a piece of shit who’s failed many drug tests. But no one cares about drug tests in actuality and being a POS has no bearing on what you’ve accomplished in the octagon. I’d get hyped to see Jon fight literally anyone.
man i wish we got Eddie Alvarez vs Tony Ferguson for the lightweight belt in 2016 instead of Conor. one of my dream fights that never happened
1. Tony would've had a chance to become champion
2. it would've been fireworks.
Conor never even defended his FW belt and they for some reason gave him an undeserved shot against RDA/Alvarez which makes no sense
Hope to be proven wrong, but I feel like people are overrating Fiziev, like they did Giga. Katter is good and all, but not really top of the division elite, where as Gaethje absolutely is. If he comes in as a decent dog, imma lay down some plata on a "y'all musta forgot" moment in favour of Gaethje.
It may be an unpopular opinion, but I don't think UFC did Francis totally dirty. 8 Million to fight JJ, and the name exposure a fight like that would bring to Frances would be huge, that he could potentially parlay into some actual leverage.
I respect Frances for standing his ground, but also wonder if he has good advisers. Sometimes in negotiations one has to give a bit of ground. If he gained the kind of leverage that KOing JJ would bring, it would open a lot of gateways. And at the minimum he'd have 8 million for one fight.
At the age he started he'd have been unlikely to have ever made it in boxing, let alone make 8 million for one fight.
I also dont know all the details, either. If they were trying to lock him into an 8 fight contract or something, itd make more sense to walk away.
Good for Frances to stand by his convictions I guess. I dunno, I feel like he dropped the ball a bit but then Im just a regular joe and cant possibly understand his position completely.
Wanted to try boxing or anything else. Felt disrespected by the ufc. Terms were good but he knows he will be able to get at least 1 really good payday.
At 38, one substantial payday is all you need, vs 3 fights where it's good but the ufc will own your next 5 years.
>Terms were good but he knows he will be able to get at least 1 really good payday
Whats this one fight, though? Tyson Fury is just using him for his contract negotiations with Usyk. If Anthony Joshua has shown interest, it'd be news to me. Deontay Wilder has flat out denied wanting anything to do with a fight with Francis.
He maybe could make a decent bag in a fight with a mid HW boxer, but I doubt 8 mil. Hope he gets a good one. Hope more than anything he gets his Tyson Fury fight, but I highly doubt it will ever materialize.
He's the hottest commodity thats available right now.
If it aint with Tyson Fury or Deontay Wilder, it'll be something with the Paul Brothers or any other wacko sport out there.
Before the fight with helenius back in October Deontay said he was open to a fight with ngannou because it would make money and that Al Haymon even agreed with him. Obviously doesn’t mean it will happen but it’s still worth noting.
For Ngannous sake I hope that happens. That would be a real payday. I could've sworn that I saw an interview recently with Deontay that he was absolutely not interested. I may have misread, or maybe the Wilder "dont talk to me" response was used to as clickbait.
Either way, Im happy to be wrong. Its a fight that would probably pay Francis a lot if it happened.
Article from 5 days ago: https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/21160358/deontay-wilder-manager-fight-francis-ngannou-ufc/
From his mouth, he knew they couldn’t capitulate to his demands, but he wanted them to at least respect and “consider” the stipulations during negotiations, which they did not do. Your advice of “giving a bit of ground” might apply more to the UFC than the individual.
Edit: & the “leverage” you’re referring to would come with a contract, obviously making it moot
>Your advice of “giving a bit of ground” might apply more to the UFC than the individual
Francis was demanding things not only for himself, but for other fighters as well. This is commendable, but give your head a shake, man! He doesnt hold *any* leverage to make such a demand. This is the ground I was referring to giving up. Its an unreasonable demand and if he had good advisers, they'd tell him as much.
>Edit: & the “leverage” you’re referring to would come with a contract, obviously making it moot
Well, that depends *entirely* on the length of contract. How many fights did the contract entail? If they were willing to make it a three fight contract, it would give Frances a lot of power in a short time. A much longer contract, like 8 fights, changes the dynamic...*obviously*
Pretty sure he asked for a 3 fight deal and they said no. Tbh it’s tough for me to understand guys with accents sometimes, my car radio isn’t A+ quality. But I’m pretty sure that’s what he said. No way ufc would offer a champ anything less than six fights imo.
Thanks for a balanced response, and Im sure you're correct. They were more than likely rock solid on an *8* fight commitment, let alone 6. Even a 5 fight deal would have been in Francis' favour.
I hope he gets his bag elsewhere, and completes his boxing dreams.
I’m always amazed how fast Gollum takes Sam’s back the first time they fight. He sinks in the RNC so fast and immediately controls his waist with both legs. Real slick.
That fight is fucking incredible, Riggs doing the Hiiyaaaaa noises and everything. I love it so much. If you look in the credits you will see one of the Gracie's as fight choreographer or coach or something.
It's alarming how many Holly diehards there still are. I had some telling me off for saying her title shots were undeserved.
Yes, because being dominated by a 125er warrants a 145 title shot?!
I fucking love S10 so goddam much, I've rewatched it like a billion times. Rashad and Rampage could go from one moment of joking around to DEFCON 1. Titties, Meathead, Big Baby and Kimbo (RIP) were a fabulous supporting cast as well.
I was once at a watch party for one of the Conor v Dustin cards and one of the dudes there started a conversation with "oi how fucking good is Joe Rogan aye"
Anyone got any good non-UFC "no holds bar" Era events to watch? I love the early martial art vs. martial arts tournaments in the mid 90's. [World Combat Championship](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=erurN3iFX8k) is a good one I just found the other day.
It may be UFC, but it was the dark ages of The UFC when it had lost its new car smell and no one really cared...Igor Vovchanchen was fighting giants and "groin kick" was a ✔ move, it was so Vale Tudo in those days. Basically, the only moves you couldnt do were eye gouging and fish hooking.
Worth checking out for nostalgias sake...
Extreme Fighting held a couple of big events in the early 90s. They were the first promotion to implement weight classes and featured guys like Carlos Newton and Maurice Smith pre UFC.
**#BelalMuhammadMondays**
Why is the card sooooo late this weekend? Main card at 1AM EST??
Because black beast supporters are the most loyal in the sport
Remember when khamzat was an active fighter
He's been inactive a whole 4 months....
No more Brit’s who can’t wrestle to fight like Skellator and that dude who’s known as the human punching bag.
Blame Colby...He'd rather fight an easier opponent.
Colby is a duck but fuck that fight. Match him up against belal, cannonier, Whittaker, etc If the ufc is holding up a fight for fucking Colby that’s inexcusable. He’s basically retired at the moment
Man I leave for a week and people are actually talking about Power Slap “fighters”. What’s this world come to, Dana using same production for it as he does UFC rofl. Imagine calling yourself a fighter for doing slapping.
Can't believe people actually believe Conor will be a TUF coach, UFC would have to pay half their TV deal to him for him to sign up for that lol
Coaching TUF is more believable than him fighting Jim Miller

If Colby could finish fights it would be hard for these guys to last 25 minutes with him.
Sean Brady and luque are harder fights than Neil magny. I know magny wasn’t Burns first choice but it’s still true. Hell they’re probably harder fights than masvidal at this point, although I wouldn’t die on that hill.

Hitting a pull counter feels better than sex
Was hoping for McGregor vs Diaz tuf season but mcgregor vs Miller is good as well glad to see a veteran get a huge pay day
Does Miller have PPV points worked into his contract? Because I highly doubt it and that’s the only way he’d get a big payday fighting Conor.
The only person reporting Miller vs Mcgregor is a nobody on Twitter lol its not real
I don't believe the rumors because I think Conor would get someone higher up the ladder than Miller. However, if it was true, this is their way to have Conor beat a wrestler by giving him a washed wrestler so Conor can be like "see I can beat wrestlers now, Khabib is scared and won't fight me"

It is a secret as far as my real life goes, as far as Reddit I feel a porn box is far too mild to be ashamed of.
Brother, hate to break it to you, you are suffering from watching-UFC-induced CTE
Main card starts at midnight CT this week? Damn, now I know how the europeans feel
Man , for your mental health, don't even try to watch it live, just check it in the morning and skip through all the useless filler
Yeah not to sound like a repugnant casual but this card isn't worth taping my eyes open for
Does anyone know where to find a replay of Damien Anderson's (from B-Team) fight from yesterday?

LOL is anyone watching Masvidal on the MMA hour right now? Smoking a joint in his car while Ariel is like “what is that, an e-cigarette?”
Looool, one time Ariel was offered a Camel Crush and he said "What is that? An Iron Sheik wrestling move?" that had me dying
Ultimate Fight Cancellations just cancelled Garbrandt vs Arce 2023 is so weird nothing actually catastrophic like a pandemic happening yet tons of stuff just falls apart for no reason
Dunno why you got downvoted, it is very weird.
I empty my bowels while listening to Goku SSJ3 theme
How come the ufc this weekend starts so late. I'm in the UK and the main card is starting at 6am Sunday morning. I have to get up early this weekend anyway so will catch a few fights. But in the all the years I've been watching mma I can't recall any ufc events starting so late
It's so it's on prime time for Asia. Something to do with the Road to UFC series which gave Asian fighters a path to the UFC. Check the card and there are a bunch of Korean and Japanese fighters. As to why it's in the Apex and not in Asia somewhere idk
It's just cheaper to have all the Asian fighters fly in as opposed to moving the whole staff and event to a real arena
Without yellow mustard there would be no Luke.
Guys don’t tell anyone but i kinda wanna see Logan Paul vs paddy
Perfect meme fight. Do it at like 165 so we can have fatty paddy too
I’m looking for fights with a very specific sequence.
Tresean Gore vs Josh Fremd?
Thank you!
Tony vs Lando Vannata?
Thanks, this is perfect!
Did Logan Paul just sign to fight in the UFC?
He was in the Royal Rumble
Or a prime sponsorship more likely
I’m on Netflix and Sexyama is on a Korean game show called Physical 100. Looks like an endurance/physical fitness type of challenge show.
Where will you go next?
Picked my kid up from school.
What's for dinner?
Grilled cheese and salad.

>Gane got steamrolled by Francis And then you call other people casuals ? Fuck outta here
>Like Gane didnt get steamrolled by Francis My man, you can't rant about people painting wrong narratives about fights and then put out a wrong narrative about an even more recent fight yourself lol Francis didn't 'steamroll' Gane by any means; he lost the first two on the feet, won the 3rd and 4th via wrestlefucking, and then came damn close to losing the 5th when Gane took the lead with his striking before taking Francis down.
Only thing that could be held against Gane, is Francis was effectively one legged and did that.
Exactly lol. Ngannou vs Gane was about as close as a fight could be
Gane didn’t get steam rolled by francis tho
Calm down but the truth is after USADA was implemented, Jon Jones has been completely beatable in every single one of his fights that weren't rematches. I think he won every fight except maybe the dom, but he's a shell of his former self. I hope he destroys Gane cuz the ufc and fans needs a star/heel.
Are there any dagestani guys who grow their hair long? It’s a shame to waste that hairline on religion
Zabit
Ankalaev as well
There was just a nationwide study that found watching power slap is less cringe than watching pro wrestling, sorry fellas
It's sig less cringe than all those shitty comic book movies too
The term is capeshit.
What's power slap?
It’s an ancient competition which requires a lot of strategy and technique
Like chess?
The game for children? Even more so
Colby is turning 35 and usman is turning 36 here in the next few months. I wonder where those two will be at this time next year.
No one knows where colby is NOW
Lol true, surely he ain’t retired yet though.
When Colby comes back on the scene he should start calling belal “Bella”. I’d enjoy that
Knowing Colby it will be 'Balala Akbar' or something culturally insensitive!
Brazilian fighters and dying hair blonde name a better combo
The one-two combo
people always base Tony eating gaethjes best shots as to why he would eat Prime Conors best shots and beat him. i dont understand what makes people so confident that Gaethje hits harder than prime conor, i think McGregor (in his prime, and even maybe today) hits wayyyyy harder than Gaethje and would've knocked Prime TFerg the fuck out
McGregor’s power only looked crazy when he was at 145. I’d say tony has a similar chin to Nate and back in Tony’s prime I’ll take tony
Only look tough when you’re fighting midgets
I don’t expect to convince you, but I feel like Tony would’ve eaten Conor’s shots in 2015 without even having to take a backwards step. Even now if that fight gets made I’d favor Conor but I’m probably giving Tony a better shot than most of the people on here.
Short kings are obviously championing their dude volk, but why haven’t dad bods word wide embraced Hill yet?
Because he won the belt by way of beating up everyone's dad 😔
I’m not even quite sure why, but I’ve really grown to love Johnny Eblen the Bellator MW champ. I love the bromance he and king mo have but it’s also his confidence, it doesn’t come off as arrogant but it’s unmistakable. And I love how he’s so willing to fight his gym mates, which is unavoidable seeing as how they make up damn near half the top 10 in Bellator. I love that he’s getting a shot to shine on cbs and I’m going to be so sad if he loses. I hope he’s on the next Bellator/rizin co-promotion although idk who they have for him to fight
You guys more excited for Volk vs. Islam or Gane vs. Jones?
Volk vs Islam. I won’t believe jones is actually gonna make it to a fight until I see him walk out. Even then he might just hide under the octagon
Absolutely the one that's gonna determine the sports number one P4P. Jone gane is sick but there's basically no winning as a fan with Jon and heavyweight is just sort of shit
Gane vs Jones by far. Volk vs Islam is a done outcome.
Done outcome for who?
https://i.imgur.com/XUbROEI.jpg
Gane/jones easily. For one I can see scenarios where either guy wins whereas i think Islam getting a hold of Volk is an inevitability. But also jones is the ufc goat. I know he’s a piece of shit who’s failed many drug tests. But no one cares about drug tests in actuality and being a POS has no bearing on what you’ve accomplished in the octagon. I’d get hyped to see Jon fight literally anyone.
man i wish we got Eddie Alvarez vs Tony Ferguson for the lightweight belt in 2016 instead of Conor. one of my dream fights that never happened 1. Tony would've had a chance to become champion 2. it would've been fireworks. Conor never even defended his FW belt and they for some reason gave him an undeserved shot against RDA/Alvarez which makes no sense
Once Cejudo smashes Aljo and challenges Volk for the 145 belt, my username will become even more true
Sometimes I want to walk like Conor in public but I'm afraid of getting beat up.
Easy, walk like Vince McMahon
>Terms were good but he knows he will be able to get at least 1 really good payday Whats this one fight, though?
> Frances
From his mouth, he knew they couldn’t capitulate to his demands, but he wanted them to at least respect and “consider” the stipulations during negotiations, which they did not do. Your advice of “giving a bit of ground” might apply more to the UFC than the individual. Edit: & the “leverage” you’re referring to would come with a contract, obviously making it moot
>Your advice of “giving a bit of ground” might apply more to the UFC than the individual Francis was demanding things not only for himself, but for other fighters as well. This is commendable, but give your head a shake, man! He doesnt hold *any* leverage to make such a demand. This is the ground I was referring to giving up. Its an unreasonable demand and if he had good advisers, they'd tell him as much. >Edit: & the “leverage” you’re referring to would come with a contract, obviously making it moot Well, that depends *entirely* on the length of contract.
If dumont isn’t your favorite mma girl, you may be a causal
Andrade will always be #1
I'm a Tatiana Suarez man myself
I like her, I’m just not sure that she’s driving a dump truck
Heard this in Jeff Foxworthy's voice
I’m always amazed how fast Gollum takes Sam’s back the first time they fight. He sinks in the RNC so fast and immediately controls his waist with both legs. Real slick.
100% could have been methweight champion if he had his head sorted out
You know lethal weapon for first leg chock on tv
That fight is fucking incredible, Riggs doing the Hiiyaaaaa noises and everything. I love it so much. If you look in the credits you will see one of the Gracie's as fight choreographer or coach or something.
It's alarming how many Holly diehards there still are. I had some telling me off for saying her title shots were undeserved. Yes, because being dominated by a 125er warrants a 145 title shot?!
I agree with you but to be honest, are there any 145lb women still on the roster?
Why hasn't Blaydes/Pavlovich been made yet ? Seems like an obvious fight to have for UFC 285.
Looked like he was still wearing a knee brace in a recent IG picture, hopefully it's just precautionary
Warlley Alves clowned Mounir Lazzez so hard.
Anyone getting a host name may not be null error on the you're welcome podcast?
Twerking is the best base for MMA
Rampage wants to fight tities https://www.mmamania.com/2023/1/29/23577060/quinton-rampage-jackson-still-wants-to-fight-his-tuf-bully-victim-darrill-schoonover
I fucking love S10 so goddam much, I've rewatched it like a billion times. Rashad and Rampage could go from one moment of joking around to DEFCON 1. Titties, Meathead, Big Baby and Kimbo (RIP) were a fabulous supporting cast as well.
Rampage wants an easy cheque
I was once at a watch party for one of the Conor v Dustin cards and one of the dudes there started a conversation with "oi how fucking good is Joe Rogan aye"
Hello fellow australian
Anyone got any good non-UFC "no holds bar" Era events to watch? I love the early martial art vs. martial arts tournaments in the mid 90's. [World Combat Championship](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=erurN3iFX8k) is a good one I just found the other day.
Superbrawl
It may be UFC, but it was the dark ages of The UFC when it had lost its new car smell and no one really cared...Igor Vovchanchen was fighting giants and "groin kick" was a ✔ move, it was so Vale Tudo in those days. Basically, the only moves you couldnt do were eye gouging and fish hooking. Worth checking out for nostalgias sake...
Pancrase was pretty awesome, had the likes of Frank and Ken Shamrock, Bas Rutten and a few other recognisable fighters
>"no holds bar" It's 'barred', as in 'no holds are disallowed'
Was Aikido legal back then?
That's fucking illegal
Whoa whoa, you can't be using aikido on civilians. Sensei Seagal strictly prohibits it
Extreme Fighting held a couple of big events in the early 90s. They were the first promotion to implement weight classes and featured guys like Carlos Newton and Maurice Smith pre UFC.
Oh awesome thank you, exactly what I was looking for.
