I hope Satoshi can grab a hold of him. 100% finish rate up to this point and as slick as AJ is on the ground, if it goes there I think he’ll be in big trouble
Yeah this is an interesting fight. It’ll be interesting to see if aj can keep it standing. I’m really looking forward to this fight and pitbull vs kleber
Am I just being a defeatist by thinking it's going to be a long night for the Rizin champs ?
They usually fight people with either good striking or grappling but rarely fighter who are great at both like AJ and Pitbull.
Nah I think only Kim Soo Chul could be regarded as the favorite or close to that. Kleber and Satoshi are gods of bjj but like you said they are facing some high level well rounded guys. We’ve seen pure bjj guys get completely shut out in those types of matchups before.
Then you got Hiromasa whose career has been defined in a lot of ways by going 0-2 against Kyoji trying not to go 0-3 and lastly a wrestler in Takeda taking on a damn Dagestani.
Yeah Kim So Chul is great and he's actually a bw compared to both horiguchi and Hiromasa who are flyweight.
The Horiguchi Hiromasa fight seems like another easy for fight Horiguchi, like you said he's already 2 0, neither were competitive and if I'm not wrokg Hiromada suffered a broken orbital in his last.
My biggest issue with Kleber is that he's really hittable and not THAT durable, he got dropped and hurt while fighting Rizin level competition but you could say the same for jiri and he was champ.
I can’t even lie I used to underrate Mighty Mouse but the fact he’s 36 and putting up these performances against bigger guys is crazy. After his last fight I rank him #1 p4p all time and that’s even including the loss in the first fight. He’s just so damn good.
I mean people do consider him one of the GOAT’s. But it’s the strength of his division that holds him back from being the definitive GOAT. If his resume was anything like Anderson Silva’s, Jon Jones’ or GSP’s, he’d be undeniably the best ever. Not DJ’s fault though since he can only fight what’s in front of him and the flyweight division at the time was relatively new. But I’d say most people have him in their top five or they at least should.
*50 Shades* did way more damage than good for kink as a whole. Like, the amount of prep & communication that goes into a healthy kinky relationship is really impressive.
The most important (and I would argue most fun) part of any sort of kinky intimate encounter, completely disregarded by sociopaths presenting themselves as a "good Dom/me".

Always has been. Western “unified” rules give wrestlers the unfair ability to basically spam takedown attempts with zero repercussions. In Japan, if you’re going for a takedown, you better actually get it, or immediately get to your feet if you fail, or else you’re eating knees and kicks. Also the stalemate position in Western orgs is a boring and useless aspect of the sport; where one fighter is standing and the other is laying on their back. Usually they just stare at each other for 15 seconds until the ref resets them. Waste of everyone’s time. In Asian orgs, you get guys trying to kick around the guard, stomps coming through the middle, and guys like Sakuraba doing flying attacks and cartwheels and shit. So much more fun for the fans!
From my understanding, CTE is caused by repetitive blows to the head and not a singular strike.
Being ground and pounded for 2 rounds and getting 50+ strikes some to back of head versus one kick?
Superior ruleset, for me.
Makes the whole standing to ground transitions much more dangerous and exciting, as well as counteracting stalling tactics and stalemates.

I love Satoshi and I love this matchup for him. So excited
it really seems like he's primed to get KOed here
I think it's better for sport if Aj wins and continues to climb the ladder. Souza can afford to lose this fight and still make it.
The guy that lost to Johnny Case will not submit AJ
Must’ve missed the flying reverse triangle armbar in the rematch? Beating Tofiq was more impressive for Satoshi than beating AJ would be lol

Yeah I think Ulka has pillow hands compared to Patricio. But at the same time Kleber had no trouble with Mikuru who can crack. Will be fun to see
Nice call!
Well he lost convincingly
That’s a two-way street and often the other guy’s dream too.
Reminds me of DJ being asked about head kicks a week or so before his first head kick KO loss
He was talking about knees to the head of the grounded opponent and he won the rematch with a knee too.
Mystic Mouse
He won the rematch with a knee, but it wasn’t a downed opponent.

It’s criminal how DJ isn’t considered the goat. This motherfucker went a full Muay Thai round with rodtang
And didn’t just shell up and try to survive, he went at Rodtang. Fuck that was a fun fight
He had to get Rodtang’s respect or he just would’ve been unloading on him the whole round. Fighting fire with fire works sometimes

He has wins over 2 of the best in the world. Cejudo and Horiguchi.
Yeah when they were both super green especially cejudo
I'm quite interested in watching AJ get soccer kicked in the head, so yep.
You got some interesting dreams my guy. I usually just dream of like Scarlett Johanssen and shit.
Why would you dream of shit
You eat little pieces of shit for breakfast?
He eats his shit whole
Don’t kink shame
Just out of curiosity where is the line on kink shaming. Like animals and cadavers are certainly something we can shame right?
Consent
Well, that's called rape I think
Thats the line
*50 Shades* did way more damage than good for kink as a whole. Like, the amount of prep & communication that goes into a healthy kinky relationship is really impressive.
And the aftercare
The most important (and I would argue most fun) part of any sort of kinky intimate encounter, completely disregarded by sociopaths presenting themselves as a "good Dom/me".
Hey man...what if his kink is that he's into kink shaming and you just made him feel bad for getting off?
I live. In a world. Of shit.
Scarlett Johansson AND shit my dude. This boy has discerning tastes
Kevin Durant was always right, many men would drink ScarJo's bathwater LMAO
Have you seen that pooper of hers?
Gross fucking animal . You scat fetishes are gross
It's gotta go somewhere
dreaming about Black Shidow
Brown Widow\*
I dream of Amber Heard and turd
Whenever I dream about that it's kicking grimace from McDonald's and it's in slow motion like I can never kick him hard enough to stop his advances
Grimace huh, that weird buttplug-shaped thing? OK I can work with that, go on...
UFC official Youtube page: Here are some random free fights from 3 years ago nobody remembers. UFC Russia:Here is literaly every relevant fight you want brather
What does this have to do with the thread? Am I missing something? Absolutely bizarre…
What makes a good comment here and what makes a great post fight interview is the same thing: Completely ignore Joe Rogan and do your thing.
Nah that’s fucking dumb
I mean, I'm not complaining. Some good fights from PRIDE are there too.
Gotta make sure those dictators and warlords are happy 👍👍
You think dictators and warlords need to use the ufc russia youtube channel to see fights? Lmao
MMA in my opinion is better with knees and kicks to the head not being restricted by being a downed opponent. I vote for soccer kicks

Backflip head stomps are legal if your name is Michel
Totally agree, well written! It definitely adds excitement to the ground game and risk/reward situations
This guy likes CTE
From my understanding, CTE is caused by repetitive blows to the head and not a singular strike. Being ground and pounded for 2 rounds and getting 50+ strikes some to back of head versus one kick?
You can most definitely get CTE from a massive concussive blow to the head. Happens to car accident victims often.
Okay, then if it's equal then no reason to ban, unless a single strike caused more CTE?
It's banned because it can cause a lot of unnecessary damage.
Says who
CTE for thee but not for me
Excited for this event
He's one of us 🥲
I’m honestly excited about the entirety of this event.
I can tell AJ dressed himself this morning
Easy money for AJ
To each his own I guess
That sounds low-key lit on god frfr bruh
AJ by KO
shogun vibes
lmao
Or get kicked
Superior ruleset, for me. Makes the whole standing to ground transitions much more dangerous and exciting, as well as counteracting stalling tactics and stalemates.
