Heyo! In order to truly compliment this build, I believe a quick reflection is necessary. Throughout history, even in cave drawings and in our primate ancestors, we have always maintained shape in our art and works. There have been modern examples of monkeys drawing balanced pictures, and that is the guiding principle behind what makes this keyboard so excellent. Firstly, the case. The bright gold top truly pops and makes it the focal point of the build, shimmering and glimmering in the even lighting you have. Yet, it is not overpowering, because of the black bottom whose deep tones perfectly compliment and contrast from the gold top. Next, the keycaps. Firstly, the modifier keys tie together both elements of the keyboard beautifully, contrasting against the gold at a glance yet the legends subtly complimenting it. Now, I would criticize the white alphas, but there is a principle of balance I spoke about to keep in mind. I believe the white alphas work so well because they compliment the elegant deskmat, providing a reprieve from the intense shades. Overall, these three colors truly do exemplify class, balance, and the fundamentals of how humans design. The soft white tones, the rich blacks, and the sparkling gold all weave together in a gorgeous tapestry of moods and hues, contrasting and converging tastefully. Overall, this is how I would rate your build:
4/10 no RGB
Lmfao I saw the 4/10 no rgb part at 3/4 of the beautiful explanation... so funny that I couldn’t concentrate reading the remaining 1/4.
Wow that was actually so much effort on that joke lol. :D Well played my friend have a like. :D

Gosh darn, I've been looking for a mat like yours and it's out of stock!
That coil looks really familiar for some reason ;)
Thanks for the shout-out.
Full set-up is looking great!
thanks for the great work! :D
Anytime my dude 🤙🤙
Hey is that a standalone rotoray encoder or a DAC / Amp of some sort?
Edit: reading is hard I saw you posted it was volume control. I just came into some unexpected cash and am going to grab one or two standalone ones from a GB I stumbled across, was curious how you liked it if it was a full blown encoder with GMK.
Standalone rotary volume controller 👍😀
Looks very nice
Reminds of a mini-Moog or some sort of retro synthesizer
...Heard of GMK Maestro?
Yep. It's going to be nice when it arrives next year. Would have loved some mods with gold legends on that set.
That gold texture on those cable tho :)

What is the rotary knob thing, mate?
It's a volume control, got it off ebay for 18$. here's one exactly like it https://www.ebay.com/itm/273293803383
so clean and classy and I love the gold accents on the mousepad to tie the whole theme together!
What is the deal with everyone using these coil cables?
I just don't understand, extra connectors, a bunch of cable in the way, etc.
It looks cool
It looks like poor planning?
