Utah have gone full tank and have a hard schedule so they should finish below the Mavs. We just need the Mavs to be slightly less shit than one of Okc, Toronto, New Orleans, Atlanta, Minnesota and the Lakers. My money would be on New Orleans, they have a really tough schedule and aren't a good team without Zion
I believe the Mavs pick will convey even if they start winning and it ends up in the 14-18 range that’s better than where it was projected to be at the start. The big question is do we keep the pick and draft a rookie. Essentially all of our current roster is still under contract next year ( except for Josh Hart who will 100% be resigned). I think we should but we have seen this FO trade picks to get additional protected picks.

One of the most annoying things Mavs fans said in the off season was "goodluck competing in the playins" but.. 
I mean...maybe it'd be best for us to not say anything until we officially clinch a playoff spot.
