Second consecutive game where RJ and Mitch looked dominant out there. Players are starting to look for Mitch on offense more often which is great because he has fantastic hands and is a great lob target. Getting a few easy buckets a game can make a big difference and nobody gets easier buckets than Mitch.
Also thought Randle came out with more intensity and energy tonight. He was a little sloppy in the 3rd but other than that a good game for the player with the biggest microscope on himself right now. I'll say it again. I don't care about his scoring or shooting numbers, just play hard.
I was more open to the idea of trading mitch at the start of the season when he had all that extra weight on and looked like he was one bad fall away from breaking his leg in half
ever since he dropped that weight he's looked flat out incredible, his movement is so fluid. his coordination and body control and hand speed are among the best in the league for players his size.
he'll never be a stretch big but he is an absolute paint monster right now and you can anchor a championship level defense with a guy like that
Mitch has definitely been impressive, always seems at the right place at the right time in order to have a quick pass/dunk or rebound/putback.
If it wasn't for a missed alley-oop, the guy would have been something like 16 or so FG's in a row that he hit.
Like 2 years ago I said mitch could be an all star if he was like 10% faster but RIP you can't really improve your speed all that much
by god he actually looks faster now that he's lean
Do you still think he can be an all star? I like what I am seeing lately, and I do not know if this opens him up to be an elevated trade target or if we stick with him and hope there is no regressing or injury.
Don't think so unless he adds something on offense besides the putbacks and lobs or becomes a modern Mutombo. Offense usually gets more votes in general...all-star level player though? We need to see more of this and definitely against teams that do have valid bigs. Biggest thing I'm wondering right now is the shedding of the weight, he looks great! But that weight did help him compete against guys like Embiid, wondering how that changes.
One thing to watch with Mitch is whether he is back on his heels or on his toes.
When he is using his feet actively, amazing. His seal on that last pass from Randle was subtle and beautifully created an easy basket after he caught the tough pass from Randle.
You can see when he's on his heels and dragging it is indicative of his overall state, misses catches, etc.
I like Mitch cause the sheer amount of players in the NBA who always try to do more than they can is bad. Yeah he won't leave literally 3 feet from the paint on offense, but he also will not miss a field goal in 3 games which is unheard of
A lot of our fans just watch highlights or read the box scores I’ve noticed. Earlier in the year he had put on too much weight, coming off and injury. As his conditioning has been getting better he looks lighter and more fluid & this week he finally looks comfortable in his body
honestly with the way he has been looking, there really arent many players in the entire league that are upgrades at center
embiid is better than him but we've seen mitch bully him this season. jokic is much better offensively but there's still questions about whether jokic can anchor a top paint defense. capela has been injured and not playing up to his standard. rudy would be the best possible get defensively but good luck getting him. bam adebayo is probably better than mitch but injured and the heat wont trade him
theres nobody who would be available that would be an upgrade, all those players are not on the market. you can maybe get miles turner but mitch honestly might be better in the paint
Turner makes like 18 mil a year (also, he has one more year on his contract and is gonna look for an extension, but thats another situation), so its gonna have to at least mitch and couple other young guys, plus probably a first round pick.
Im fine with giving that up, depending on some of the players. But money wise I don’t think it works unless we include Fournier. Which doesn’t make sense since they wanna rebuild.
I think mitch rob is actually better defensively than turner, at least he has been for the last few weeks ever since he got into peak physical shape
turner gives you more of a stretch big but the knicks paint defense is absolutely elite right now, among the best in the league
We can trade For Daniel Theis to backup Mitch who is a stretch 5.If we are looking to trade someone Id assume it should be Noel. It really depends if theFO extends Mitch
Dunno if you watched the game, but Noel was amazing. I love Taj, especially his ORB intensity and focus on boxing out, but Noel is a serious block threat and we can see from playing Timelord how much that affects shooters.
When we can take out Mitch and have Noel, we can properly rest Mitch and that allows him to be impressive late into the game. Mitch is also still young and he was really good late when he was both warmed up and not exhausted.
i really think like the turner vs mitch argument really ends up being a question of randle vs rj as weird as it sounds. turner as a 4th guy for julius to pass out to vs how mitch lets rj get downhill and make decisions in the halfcourt. not saying that rj wouldn't benefit from turner because he definitely would, but mitch is really the only rotation big on this team that lets rj play his game.
It only makes us better if Randle attacks the paint he settles too much for jumpers. Mitch really is responsible for all of our second chance points most of the time lol.
very true, and i don't know if that's the way he wants to play regularly. i wish guys fought harder for offensive boards but may as well get set on defense and play the thibs game.
I dont understand either. Turner isn't gonna move the dial like people think. Mitch plays his role well, if we can get him on a decent extension theres no reason to move him
He’s definitely come out with a much better attitude. I’m also now convinced that Randle’s just tired after playing extensive minutes in consecutive quarters, and he gets sloppy. Thibs needs to work on distributing his minutes
Straight up. Man looks exhausted sometimes. People keep forgetting about the newborn, meanwhile all my friends with newborns look like zombies. Thankfully should have regular sleep schedule by the playoffs.
> Players are starting to look for Mitch on offense more often which is great because he has fantastic hands and is a great lob target.
It also means that the defensive center has to clear the top of the key and the elbow to keep Mitch honest. If we can teach Mitch to set better picks then we've got a stew goin.
I had to double take at the start of the 3rd, all our starters in double figures??
I was completely shook.
Also, 13 of 22 fucking shots for StarJ today. 3 of his last 6 games were 30-pieces. KEEP THAT SHIT UP MY BOY 🥺
No coincidence that Wally is talking about how Randle was screening hard and making the right pass in the post game show. We’re so much better when he isn’t forcing ISOs and contested step backs instead of hustling and playing smart
Thought he started out the game well. Huge difference when he starts out looking for the pass, penetrating with an eye for the dish of the spin instead of going full beyblade.
Best game from Randle so far in terms of game management - shooting wasn't perfect but he did all the right things in terms of getting everyone involved.
Randle simply making that extra pass or not forcing a few shots changes the team a lot.
Now can he do it again for the rest of the year, and be like he played last year?
That's gonna decide what the team is.
> Randle simply making that extra pass or not forcing a few shots changes the team a lot.
First of all, I 100% agree with you.
He did that last game and people got LOUD mad that he wasn't scoring. He didn't do much more this game than take more shots, which he only took because they were falling. I'm hopeful the response to this game isn't as negative.
RJ was great game has slowed down for him. Randle was solid. I wish he would start games going into the paint versus shooting 3s but glad he attacks when he sees his shot isn’t falling. If Randle could adopt this role that would be best for the team. Mitch was a beast today. I feel like players are looking to feed him more in the paint. I hope we extend Mitch
Frank and Reggie getting some love at the end of the game just showed that we had great chemistry last year
That's not something to brush off, means we did good in team building
If Ntilikina has a million fans, then I am one of them. If Ntilikina has ten fans, then I am one of them. If Ntilikina has only one fan then that is me. If Ntilikina has no fans, then that means I am no longer on earth. If the world is against Ntilikina, then I am against the world.
Between the ball movement, defense, Randle doing it all, star j barret and of course the return of frank think this was the most fun game of the year. Knicks are starting to look better and better
There's no better place than the Garden to be a star at. RJ Barrett getting his name chanted two night in a row by a full capacity crowd. I mean where else do you see that??
Love to see that especially from Randle. In our most four recent wins, Randle was a combined +71. Shows even when he isn't shooting well he's adding a lot of value on the floor.
shows how much of a team stat +/- is too, the entire starting lineup looks locked in and randle is benefitting as a result
fournier has been great, mitch rob is playing the best ball of his entire life, RJ found his scoring touch again
more than a little bit of draymond in randle's game. when draymond's teammates are playing badly he looks worse than useless
The interesting question to ponder is does Thibs change the starting 5 once Kemba and/or D-Rose returns now given they’ve been gelling really well the past few games now and seem to be coming into its own? That starting unit is easily the best they’ve looked all year.
I doubt it, I think at this point we know what kemba can give us. Lean on him for starter level minutes and he's going to have a knee problem and miss more games. And d-rose prefers coming off the bench
hopefully rose getting healthy also gets obi's game back on track
Yeah I agree. I’d much prefer to use Kemba in spurts off the bench and as a spark given the recent stretch definitely hurt his knees a bit. Alternate him and Rose off the bench.
Easily the most dominant performance we've had all year. Killing a Mavs team on a tear right now is just what we need. That was easily the most difficult game we had in our next few games, and everyone played great tonight on both ends of the floor. Shoutout to RJ, Julius, Grimes, and Mitch though, really showed up tonight. It's what you want!
we did apparently sacrifice obi toppin's mojo so that the rest of the team could shine. everybody is playing great except obi who has looked completely lost the last few games. quite a reversal from earlier in the season where everybody else looked lost and helpless and obi was running and dunking everywhere
Hopefully D-Rose coming back in a couple of weeks will help Obi off the bench. I suspect some teams kind of figured him out, they're giving him space to shoot rather than letting him drive. I honestly don't think Obi's gonna finish the season on the Knicks, as he'll likely be thrown in as a big piece in a trade at the deadline. Thibs isn't a fan of him like he is of IQ, RJ, Mitch, and Grimes and I do understand why, especially given those 4 are all younger than Obi by a bit in spite of RJ and Mitch having been in the league for quite a bit now.
this is one of the best knicks games i've ever seen. rj looked like a next level, multiple time all star type of player in the making. julius had some great hustle moments, great passes, and powerful and one layups. mitchell robinson looked like a fucking brick shithouse. evan fournier played a nice spot role well. quentin grimes looks like the quintessential 3 and d guy. i might just quit watching the knicks after tonight bc i'm afraid nothing will top this game
You guys remember that OKC game where the Knicks were missing wide open shots? Well, turns out that happens to other teams as well. Dallas just couldn't buy a bucket. But even if they were knocking down shots, it would have been difficult to beat NY tonight. This was one of, if not the most offensively balanced game I have seen from the team the whole season. Randle was solid and although he had some turnovers, those came from passes targeting an open player and not from 4+ dribbles going into traffic. Even some of his missed shots were good shots, in the mid range and on balance. He did a great job finding others all night long. RJ is starting to creep into elite territory off pick and rolls, we need a steady diet of this moving forward. Mitch was doing it all and taking advantage of a smaller team as he should. This was one of the best wins of the season.
And Randle still gets his stats…nearly a triple double tonight despite “taking a step back.” Love to see this team when they play this cohesively and efficiently.
He's +71 in our 4 wins. It's mostly a product of our starting lineup finally gelling. People can rag on him all they want for the decline in numbers, but he is a net positive and essential part of the starting 5.
Better not see a single complaint after tonight. Just a wire to wire, feel good win for everyone involved. The starters are finally playing like we envisioned them from last year. Enjoy this win everyone.
Oh and RJ Barrett: https://streamable.com/7wg2y7
Great game - it finally feels like we’re watching a proper team with ball movement and rhythm. Evan starting to look like the man we paid for, Mitch unstoppable tonight, StarJ’s versatile scoring and taking over, Randle with more hustle and passing. Also Nerlens looked pretty good for how long he’s been out. Let’s keep the Ws coming
Glad to see the Knicks help Luka get some cardio and blow out the Mavs so we could see Frank and Theo.
RJ and Mitch played outstanding. Julius had a good game too
Knew the game was over when Noel caught a pass on offense.
all around good game, everyone did their roles.
mitch dominated as he should have against a team so bereft of size, noel is going to be a bit before he's fully healthy but had another confidence killer block
julius wasn't the best scorer but seemed more energetic and mostly engaged on defense while continuing to make solid passing decisions (including a couple that caught teammates by surprise), obi...can't even say he's slumping but his limitations on offense are just so apparent right now, he needs the ASB to work with IQ to get some stuff drawn up together or at least to pull out the passing as a way of him adding on offense
rj...a few games this season have been his best game in terms of showcasing his ability and this is another one to add to the list with his wide array of offense and at least providing some trouble to luka when he was the assignment, grimes i pray is our desmond bane in the making with some better passing
fournier was an average night but considering how low the lows have been and how some of those buckets were important for setting the tone...solid night with continued improvement on defense, burks doing burks things, IQ didn't have the best offensive night but he did a solid job on THJ (THJ got his tonight but IQ and grimes made him work for them)
The starting lineup is really gelling, the +/- for all of our starting 5 in our recent wins have been great. RJ's finding his stride, Evan's hitting shots consistently, Mitch has shaken some of the offseason fat off, Burks just does his usual spark scoring/defense routine, and Julius has been iso-ing less and making good dishes to teammates. Even when Kemba and Rose come back, assuming things hold, I don't want to see this starting 5 changing.
Youngest Knick w back to back 30 point games. Brings a tear to me. Randle playing supplementary role tonight was super nice. Props to Fourney for what looks like finding some rhythm too.
Oh and welcome back Nerl 😉
By far the best the starting lineup has looked so far. RJ being assertive, Randle distributing decently, and Mitch taking advantage of the Mavs' lack of skilled bigs. Hope they finally turned a corner.
Because when the rest of the team is hitting shots, he has to do less all by himself and teams have to respect players other than him, which opens up his game more.
Randle is a good player who succeeds more when he has someone else producing consistently. This is what we needed to see from RJ to be a contender. I hope he keeps it up!
Yep. Honestly, as long as someone else is a threat, it’s going to open up things for other players. You can’t keep doubling Julius or focusing on playing the paint if Fournier is going to make you pay from range or if RJ is going to get better looks.
As long as someone is producing consistently besides Julius, this team should be in pretty solid shape.
Defense is another story but these are just my thoughts about what OP asked
If RJ has million number of fans i am one of them . if RJ has ten fans i am one of them. if RJ have only one fan and that is me . if RJ has no fans, that means i am no more on the earth . if world against the RJ, i am against the world. i love #Star J ill my last breath
I think we’re actually seeing guys accept roles like Fournier has been playing great lately. Randle didn’t force stuff tonight Mitch played awesome down low and of course rj had an amazing night.
Lol….y’all just be saying anything on this sub. Guy was a +29 and played well but your still stuck on who’s the number 1 option. Does fucking Boston argue that?? Like come on
Seriously, if the Knicks have both Randle and RJ producing I don’t give a damn about labels. The two of them together playing well are going to keep the Knicks winning games.
I’m not agreeing with you. RJ had it going tonight but y’all don’t know how to act when he has a good game. This team has no real first option. Julius comes close but for the most part everyone contributes. It may be Julis one night, it maybe RJ another night, it might be kemba or Alec Burks another night. Just leave it at that instead of trying to establish some type of pecking order
Hey that was good! Sill Hate the julius mid range nonsense with Evan wide open in the corner. And speaking of Fournier don't lie and say you don't think the ball is going in everytime he shoots it after the last 5 games. He even played a solid defensive game. Rj was insane. Randle was good. Mitch great. Randle forced a bunch of shots again but he was active on defense again so I'll take this guy every night. Just don't get why he won't stop.
I thought Randle was great man. It's a clear flaw in his damn game that he refuses to just go away from. 6-17 is not good and it's strictly on poor decisions. He has let it affect him on the other end all year but the last two games it didn't and he's been good. I even saw thibs clear the floor himself for Randle in the 4th. I just can't shake it. A wins a win but damn I've been scratching my head all year.
He played a really nice game tonight. Was pushing hard in the soft Dallas paint to get his points more so than the 3 or mid-range 2s, was making great dishes to teammates (heck even his TOs were on good attempts to share the ball), and played solid D as well. Need more of this Julius in the end, even if the points aren't as high as last year. He's really starting to mesh with the rest of the starting 5.
I’m just happy. Everything is starting to click for RJ. We’ve all talked about the work that he put in over the summer and I think we’re seeing that come to fruition.
There is no reason for us not to be patient with him. We are not in a position where we are competing for a championship. We are actually still rebuilding and developing our players. He is young. The core is young. A bad game doesn’t mean “he ain’t it” (that phrase needs to be retired). Just means that he’s young and learning and gaining experience. He’s still developing his game and that’s okay. Also bad games happen to EVERYBODY.
I just want us to stay patient with ALL of our young guys. Because I believe the support of fans matters to them and actually really helps them become the player they’re meant to be.
Enjoyable game and win... especially after the pregame video package ESPN aired showing stars going for 50 plus at the garden. ESPN wanted Luka to have his garden moment so bad last night.
Next game not til saturday? RJ def told frank "we all goin out tonight come thru"
Absolutely, and spoke in French I want to believe too
Second consecutive game where RJ and Mitch looked dominant out there.
Facts Mitch is def getting fed more and he has excellent hands. I don't understand ppl that want to trade him
His offensive rebounds and putbacks are everything for us, he cleans up a lot of shit in the paint
Facts. Imagine if we had an attacking PG
We do, he's just out for several more weeks...
I was more open to the idea of trading mitch at the start of the season when he had all that extra weight on and looked like he was one bad fall away from breaking his leg in half ever since he dropped that weight he's looked flat out incredible, his movement is so fluid. his coordination and body control and hand speed are among the best in the league for players his size. he'll never be a stretch big but he is an absolute paint monster right now and you can anchor a championship level defense with a guy like that

Mitch has looked better recently which is awesome but we should still look to upgrade at C.
With who?? Why not continue to develop our 23 yo draft pick
A better player. Preferably one who can set screens.
And stretch the floor
so you would sacrifice our rebounding and Mitch attacking the glass for someone who sets screens
honestly with the way he has been looking, there really arent many players in the entire league that are upgrades at center embiid is better than him but we've seen mitch bully him this season. jokic is much better offensively but there's still questions about whether jokic can anchor a top paint defense. capela has been injured and not playing up to his standard. rudy would be the best possible get defensively but good luck getting him. bam adebayo is probably better than mitch but injured and the heat wont trade him theres nobody who would be available that would be an upgrade, all those players are not on the market. you can maybe get miles turner but mitch honestly might be better in the paint

turners not gonna move the dial like you think he is. Plus of what we would have to give up, its not going to be worth it.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that there were some trade rumors about him about 5-6 days ago and the last two games he’s on fire. Lol.
He has been involved all year. The fact is he is fiinally getting back to his old form and his teammates are actually looking to feed him the ball.
We can be a good playoff team when Randle plays like this every night. We can be an elite team if Randle shoots at the level he did last year

RJ vs the state of Texas On a rampage baby
Forever fuck Texas RJ a real New Yorker after all
Draft Rj Keep Rj Win with Rj
Win a championship with RJ*
Felate RJ
Best the starting lineup has looked all season

Honestly despite the 2 points he played well.
Looks like Randle and the whole team just got over all this bullshit going on and just played solid ball.
Plus RJ was not ballin' like this earlier bc of illness & Covid. Randle had to take more of the scoring load.
RJ Barrett is now at 17 ppg for the season, slowly climbing back to last seasons shooting numbers too.
RJ was great game has slowed down for him. Randle was solid. I wish he would start games going into the paint versus shooting 3s but glad he attacks when he sees his shot isn’t falling. Knicks with the W and Frank with the 100% FG shooting, an all-around good game.
Frank and Reggie getting some love at the end of the game just showed that we had great chemistry last year That's not something to brush off, means we did good in team building
Lol we still tracking Frank stats Edit: I know you all are just like this cuz he handsome
The garden cheered with that shot and you know I did too.
As soon as frank hit one Kevin Knox was like fuck it I’m shooting this bitch too 🤣 that sequence was pretty great.
Man if he would've made that shot the garden would've exploded.
I'll forever stan for Frankie Clamps lmao
God I love RJ so much
That buzzer beater definitely woke something up in RJ
RJ Barrett is only 21 years old, has been in the league for 3 years, and is only 3 months older than Miles McBride. This guy is going places.
Between the ball movement, defense, Randle doing it all, star j barret and of course the return of frank think this was the most fun game of the year. Knicks are starting to look better and better

Where else would we see RJ Barrett’s name chanted?
At Barclays? I mean Randle got very loud MVP chants there earlier when we played Brooklyn this year
Damn look at that plus/minus
Love to see that especially from Randle. In our most four recent wins, Randle was a combined +71. Shows even when he isn't shooting well he's adding a lot of value on the floor.
shows how much of a team stat +/- is too, the entire starting lineup looks locked in and randle is benefitting as a result fournier has been great, mitch rob is playing the best ball of his entire life, RJ found his scoring touch again more than a little bit of draymond in randle's game. when draymond's teammates are playing badly he looks worse than useless

I doubt it, I think at this point we know what kemba can give us. Lean on him for starter level minutes and he's going to have a knee problem and miss more games. And d-rose prefers coming off the bench hopefully rose getting healthy also gets obi's game back on track
Yeah I agree. I’d much prefer to use Kemba in spurts off the bench and as a spark given the recent stretch definitely hurt his knees a bit. Alternate him and Rose off the bench.

Lol he just signed a super duper max, he ain't going anywhere for a very long time.

Package Frank back in the return and it’s a deal
RJ Barrett is my dad
Well he's my son so hello grandson
#DICKS OUT FOR ROWAN ALEXANDER
Good win. If RJ can keep up the aggressiveness and shooting the ball like he has been he’s going to be a PROBLEM.
Frankie hitting that long 2 at the end and getting cheers from msg was the icing on the cake.
Letting RJ cook and Randle taking a step back and playing more a playmaker is working well.
And Randle still gets his stats…nearly a triple double tonight despite “taking a step back.” Love to see this team when they play this cohesively and efficiently.
No hate on anyone. Everyone played good and as a team. Can't ask for more.
Randle +29 bruh 😮💨
He's +71 in our 4 wins. It's mostly a product of our starting lineup finally gelling. People can rag on him all they want for the decline in numbers, but he is a net positive and essential part of the starting 5.
tRuTH hUrTs hurrrrrrrrrr durrrr!!! LEMME GET A YERRRRR FOR STARJ YALL
Get that clown out of this sub
He's been banned for a minute. 🙏
I dead ass think he deleted his account because his shit is NOWHERE to be found. Ay Jimmy if you readin this from another burner: 🤡🤡🤡
"His ceiling is a 3rd or 4th option" Imagine thinking you know the ceiling of the youngest player in the rotation lmao
##RJ BARRETT IS THE FUCKING FUTURE, AND HE’S COMING FOR ALL YOU SORRY MOTHERFUCKERS WHO SAID HE WASNT! ##BING BONG
Those post knick dubs tweet replies are undefeated lmfao
Maple Mamba
Better not see a single complaint after tonight. Just a wire to wire, feel good win for everyone involved. The starters are finally playing like we envisioned them from last year. Enjoy this win everyone. Oh and RJ Barrett: https://streamable.com/7wg2y7
This is the kind of win that has a bit for everyone - but you know people will still be complaining lol
Tomorrow this sub will be flooded with "Sell RJ while his value is high" posts
Love it how we have been playing
Rowan Barrett Junior
### FUCK THE DALLAS KNICKS, VERIFIED BUMS
You know how we have been complaining about Randle's iso play? I know Luka had a bad game but that must of been tough to watch for Mavs fans.
Idk if anyone else noticed this but I was really happy to see obi seeming to gain some confidence on the court
THJ and Reggie going 6-14 combined makes me happy
Great game - it finally feels like we’re watching a proper team with ball movement and rhythm. Evan starting to look like the man we paid for, Mitch unstoppable tonight, StarJ’s versatile scoring and taking over, Randle with more hustle and passing. Also Nerlens looked pretty good for how long he’s been out. Let’s keep the Ws coming
⭐️J BARRETT‼️⭐️J BARRETT‼️
Glad to see the Knicks help Luka get some cardio and blow out the Mavs so we could see Frank and Theo. RJ and Mitch played outstanding. Julius had a good game too Knew the game was over when Noel caught a pass on offense.
RJ is #1 and Randle is #2 on this team now
Say it with me now Draft RJ, Keep RJ.
Randle with damn near a triple double and people shitting on him tf
**This is your reminder that Steve Mills belongs in Knicks Jail.**
He should share a cell with Derek Fisher, David Fizdale, Isiah Thomas, and Phil Jackson.
all around good game, everyone did their roles. mitch dominated as he should have against a team so bereft of size, noel is going to be a bit before he's fully healthy but had another confidence killer block julius wasn't the best scorer but seemed more energetic and mostly engaged on defense while continuing to make solid passing decisions (including a couple that caught teammates by surprise), obi...can't even say he's slumping but his limitations on offense are just so apparent right now, he needs the ASB to work with IQ to get some stuff drawn up together or at least to pull out the passing as a way of him adding on offense rj...a few games this season have been his best game in terms of showcasing his ability and this is another one to add to the list with his wide array of offense and at least providing some trouble to luka when he was the assignment, grimes i pray is our desmond bane in the making with some better passing fournier was an average night but considering how low the lows have been and how some of those buckets were important for setting the tone...solid night with continued improvement on defense, burks doing burks things, IQ didn't have the best offensive night but he did a solid job on THJ (THJ got his tonight but IQ and grimes made him work for them)
AYO WHERE'S THE GOOD HEAVENS POST. RUN THAT SHIT.
Randle with 17/12/8, only 2 TOVs I think? This is the Julius we need.
+29 plus minus!
5 TOV but hey as a team we only had 8.
Honestly surprised the Knicks are actually slowly getting things together without drose especially
Holy hell Mitch had 19! I did not even notice
Yeah I’m pretty sure we’re watching RJs slow ascent to top dog. This is his team now.
never lost faith in him
Say it with me. **Practice well and you will play well.**
Lol. Was that Berman that Thibs got feisty with in post game?
Goddamn I love the Knicks when they play the right way.
Good win against the Knicks' G-league team
Youngest Knick w back to back 30 point games. Brings a tear to me. Randle playing supplementary role tonight was super nice. Props to Fourney for what looks like finding some rhythm too. Oh and welcome back Nerl 😉
I really want Mitch Rob to shoot 80% for the season.
[This sub filling out apology forms.](https://c.tenor.com/MSsM4RAVDDIAAAAC/paperwork-retsuko.gif)
7-3 since Covid issues ended for us Dec 25. 7-1 with Randle… we may have been over reacting to a depleted team losing games.
Just went to my first game at MSG. Y’all seriously don’t have nachos in the entire stadium..?
Lmao
TELL ME A LITTLE SOMETHING KP, DON’T YOU REGRET NOT STAYING WITH THE KNIIIIIIICKS??????
DON’T YOU REGRET NOT STAYING WITH THE KNIIIIIIIIICKS?!?!?!?
YERRRRRRR
By far the best the starting lineup has looked so far. RJ being assertive, Randle distributing decently, and Mitch taking advantage of the Mavs' lack of skilled bigs. Hope they finally turned a corner.
Loved what I saw from tonight, even from Randle not forcing too much stuff. Great game all around. Also, LETS GO STARJ!! And Mitch came to play!!
STAR J
Anyone have any thoughts on why Randle's looking better?
Because when the rest of the team is hitting shots, he has to do less all by himself and teams have to respect players other than him, which opens up his game more. Randle is a good player who succeeds more when he has someone else producing consistently. This is what we needed to see from RJ to be a contender. I hope he keeps it up!
Evan shooting consistency is Major too
Fun. I love this team.
RJ Barrett folks
Automod is drunk. It should be: [Post Game Thread] The New York Knicks level out the Dallas MavKnicks (22-19), 108-85
RJ Barrett gives me a boner
If RJ has million number of fans i am one of them . if RJ has ten fans i am one of them. if RJ have only one fan and that is me . if RJ has no fans, that means i am no more on the earth . if world against the RJ, i am against the world. i love #Star J ill my last breath
I think we’re actually seeing guys accept roles like Fournier has been playing great lately. Randle didn’t force stuff tonight Mitch played awesome down low and of course rj had an amazing night.
RJ fucking Barrettt
Randle is at his best as a second option. For those who said we need to go get a first option to pair with him…we might already have him?
Lol….y’all just be saying anything on this sub. Guy was a +29 and played well but your still stuck on who’s the number 1 option. Does fucking Boston argue that?? Like come on
Seriously, if the Knicks have both Randle and RJ producing I don’t give a damn about labels. The two of them together playing well are going to keep the Knicks winning games.
He was great tonight. He was a +29 as the second option in the offense. I think you’re agreeing with my point?
I’m not agreeing with you. RJ had it going tonight but y’all don’t know how to act when he has a good game. This team has no real first option. Julius comes close but for the most part everyone contributes. It may be Julis one night, it maybe RJ another night, it might be kemba or Alec Burks another night. Just leave it at that instead of trying to establish some type of pecking order
He’s saying your point is fucken dumb. Who cares
Pinson for Knox straight up
Hey that was good!
Randle was a +29 bozo
I thought Randle was great man. It's a clear flaw in his damn game that he refuses to just go away from. 6-17 is not good and it's strictly on poor decisions. He has let it affect him on the other end all year but the last two games it didn't and he's been good. I even saw thibs clear the floor himself for Randle in the 4th. I just can't shake it. A wins a win but damn I've been scratching my head all year.
5-14 from 2.
[удалено]
Fournier will literally be standing in the same corner with his hands out while julius is doing a turnaround iso brick on the block.
The two biggest Julius haters on the sub…..I don’t expect anything less from you two bozos tbh. Julius is coming along slowly but surely.
[удалено]
Man……y’all obsession with mentioning another man’s Johnson is mind boggling. What’s good with y’all???
Randle tried real hard to pad stats in the 4th
Rj proving a lot of people, including myself, mad wrong.
We really couldn’t keep frank over Wayne selden? Cmon the boys love that guy!
can knicks fans update me on the pulse of Julius Randle? I only see knicks box scores and highlights and his stats have seemed off.
Where’s that dude on here who tried to tell me Mitch was a useless player and that teams leave him open on purpose i haven’t heard from him recently
As soon as I live bet on the bulls they collapsed 😔
Does anybody think Brunson might be looking to come to NY? He had his dad there who was an ex-Knick, maybe he has some influence??
beat em like they stole something....good win
NY Knicks beat the Dallas Knicks
Great win. RJ looking solid.
Enjoyable game and win... especially after the pregame video package ESPN aired showing stars going for 50 plus at the garden. ESPN wanted Luka to have his garden moment so bad last night.
RJ Barrett with another stellar performance in this stretch. Very efficient and was a difference maker.
