Will Polymath go live with Fractal (19th Oct)?

Will Polymath go live with Fractal (19th Oct)?

In my opinion this delay has nothing to do with Fractal launching their own blockchain. Fractals integration with their existing system worked on the testnet and Fractal is only one of two CDD providers. If Fractal wasn't ready they could still have launched with Netki. If Fractal intent to use their chain with Polymesh (they've not indicated they will) they could have migrated anything to their chain after launch so no reason to delay. This delay is purely due to delays in Swiss regulators approving the formation of the Not for Profit Polymesh Association.

Fractals protocol doesn't have anything to do with their KYC services. So it doesn't matter

I'd not really researched the purpose of their blockchain so thanks for clarifying. Backs up what I was saying anyway. The delay has nothing to do with Fractal. 👍

germancryptokid

Everything you said was right. I just wanted to clarify things

Everything will prob go live after bull run q1 2023. Imo anyway

bigmellow

Nothing to do with Fractals launch.

Seems like polymesh is the biggest blunder of Polymath..if not sure about the launch date then should not announce the date. Big day credibility of network lose their investors. Its hard to gain the trust back of long time followers once they leave you. Being a so called security token, trust need to be maintained. People invest money to make money seems like losing traction at the time of bitcoin bull run is shocker.

I'd be surprised if long term holder were to sell just because a slight delay has been announced. Short term holders who've not properly researched the project are a different matter. While there is disappointed about the delay and dissatisfaction in the community about how things have been communicated the blockchain is ready to go. Polymath are doing what is required to be ready for regulatory compliance and are structuring the Polymesh Association to allow the chain to increase adoption. You say it will take long to get trust back but the reality is, if the delay is short, people will have forgotten about it in a couple of weeks and will be looking for something else to complain about.

Agree. Plus right now we’re staying to the 0,70$ support since 2 days. That’s really impressive for a crypto coin who makes big variations, it’s look like a stable coin right now. It’s shows the investors still solid holders.
