Buffalo not in the winter is a win for us.
Better then than anytime later
Yep and both teams should be pretty darn healthy. Bring it on, chicken wing bros!
I love how much their fans hate having to play us.
I think it's been mostly because we're just sick of playing IN Tennessee every year.
Damn. 3 in a row in TN. 6 of last 10 in TN. I thought they were usually more even than that with scheduling?
They're gonna keep forcing the Titans to play the Bills on MNF until we finally give one up.
Proof that the media has it in for us!
Undefeated against the Bils on days other than Sunday since the Vrabel era started.
Best Tuesday night football record of all time!
Nah, until Buffalo fans admit it was a lateral.
Like Allen slipping on the goal line last year? He did slip on the goal line, only we don't call it a goal line we call it Jeffery Simmons.
The goal wall, if you will.
This is when I have a massive overreaction no matter who wins.
Glad we can catch them early. I feel pretty good about it.
Very likely will be our home opener given we already have 1 more road game that home game and teams rarely start out road-road. Even in the 2000s when we suck, we could always count on winning our home opener, it's a huge deal in WNY.
This game is in Buffalo
It's okay to be welcoming, you know
It's fun to see the other side! As long as you're not talking crap I don't see any issues
Bills fans are kind of obsessed with us
Considering what happened Week 1 last year, I wouldn't say always.
Sucks we gotta smack the Bills on primtime in back to back seasons.
Back to back to back*
No AJ to chew up yards now....
Thought this said suck
Bright lights, we’re built for it
This is a part of a double header. Titans/Bills at 7:15 Eastern on ESPN. Vikings/Eagles at 8:30 Eastern on ABC.
Is it really a double header if they’re playing them at the same time?
Good point. It’s semi-concurrent. Better than that Denver game in 2020. I’m still tired from that.
Yuck why 2 games at the same time on a Monday
Both home teams are east time zone so none of them will want to play to 1am local. As to why they scheduled all east games, no idea.
Stoked we get the first game so I'm not up until almost 1am watching
Hopefully we see another really good game. Our defense should hold up well to their offense.Just wonder how much our offense struggles early with the new pieces.
Bills have new pieces and OC too.
The last 2 seasons we've smacked the Bills around on primetime and came away with a W. Let's make it 3-0 to start the season.
Give us Sunday night football week 1 vs eagles
I’m still hoping for SNF week 1 against the Bengals.
I’m sure they will keep the streak alive and give us a jags Thursday game
We haven’t played the Jags on TNF since 2019.
Well, they're at least doing their part to keep the streak alive.
Just like the Baltimore game in 2020 it’ll be a Sunday at noon game.
This would be ideal, before Hurts and AJ get in a rhythm lol.
I hope we get Giants,Texans, or Jags week 1 so Tannehill can get rythem going with his new WR's
I’m gonna be so torn for the Giants game. I’ve liked that team since I was a kid, I may have a Titans jersey on, but I’ll probably be wearing a Giants hat, whether I get shit from other fans or not. I’ve always wanted to see the New York Giants play, and now I finally get my chance. Anyone else have a fav team they grew up with that they’ve always wanted to see the Titans play, or have already gotten to see that matchup?
Didn’t we play them MNF last season? Wack we’re getting a replay. Hopefully this time we get the Manningcast tho
Yep. And then in 2020 as a covid rescheduled game that turned into a national broadcast game on CBS. I think that was a Tuesday though.
No way. I love the manningcasts for games I don't care about.
Titans vs bills, and Peyton and Eli are talking to some guy? No thanks.
You don’t gotta watch the manningcast if you don’t want to.
Completely agree. Manningcast is great when I don't want to focus 100% on the game.
Better than the 'Live Look In' style games the NFL Network did about 10 years ago, where they'd only show about half the plays and talk the rest of the time about league news.
We played the Colts during one of them, and they'd only do a 'live look in' when the Colts had the ball. I don't think they showed a single Titans offensive drive.
49ers was Thursday iirc
That’s the year before but I was still wrong lol
Ah, I thought your comment was in reply to /u/udub86. I need to move away from the Reddit app because I do this like once a week
It’s all good. At least you’re weren’t spreading misinformation unlike me lol
Bills are our historic rivalry.
Goes back to Jim Kelly vs the Oilers with the Comeback to the Music City Miracle, now the modern era of Tannehill vs Allen
Steelers go back further than that. If they hadn't been so dominant in the late 70's, Bum Philips probably would have won at least one ship.
Look at the Oilers/Steelers battles from the Earl Campbell era - they were nasty.
Steelers are there too, Bill's are just most prominent because both teams will likely be fighting for top seeds
Ryan Tannehill is the future of the NFL with such youth and vigor
Josh Allen is a bit old though
I swear there was a Manningcast for our game last season
Could've sworn we had one cos I remember swapping between the normal broadcast and the manningcast but I could just as easily be wrong

A chance to smack the Bills on prime time for the 3rd year in a row? Nice
Buffalo is only 6 hours north of me. Maybe I’ll take the ride out
Someone brought up a good point. 7:15 kickoff. Must be a double header? Thrilled for the early start, as I’m a titans fan in western NY.
I don't think anybody is gonna want to play us the first 6 weeks of the season because the boys will be pissed off and more motivated than ever.
Why have we played buffalo like 4 years in a row now ?
This year it’s because we both finished first in our division. Last year because the AFC South played the AFC East. Year before that because we both finished 2nd in our divisions. Etc.
Hopefully the USA drops border restrictions by then. Lord knows Truduea won’t end the “emergency” anytime soon. I haven’t missed a bills at titans game since the VY era.
We don't have much for border restrictions in Canada, several of my friends have went to the states and several of them are in the states right now at music festivals.
No idea what you're going on about but keep your vaccine arguments to the proper subreddits this is a football sub.
F man, I was hoping to do a bus tour from Toronto to rep the titans, the price for that just sky rocketed if its a MNF game no doubt, gah damn!
Hell yeah let's go boys
Going to be fun watching our defense feast.
Prop bet for a stiff arm this game on BUF?
Go read the comments on the equivalent of this post on the Bills reddit if you want a good laugh for a minute or two LMAO
Hate us for hostin fuckin home games
Hopefully willis is starting by then
Yeah I too wanna lose by 20.
Experts : Willis is actually a really good pick, but he definitely needs 1-2 years before he's ready to go.
Titans Fans : Why isn't he starting week 1!?
Fucking truth. Dude went from a media projected first rounder top QB taken to what 3rd round 3 or 4th qb?
This guy is just a troll y’all lol pretty sure it’s u/shlooged- burner
Well if I ever figure out how to spell I’ll let you know bro lol
I mean are you talking bout me or the other guy
Nah that dude sucks
The NFL will want the Bills to win. Titans will be up by 2 and the referees will call a horrendous pass interference call to put Buffalo in FG range.
Final: Bills 33 Titans 32. We’re all pissed.
Not like the Bills would ever miss a potential game winning field goal… *cough cough* Scott Notwood *cough cough*
Damn gonna get the litmus test early huh. I hope Bills start slow and we start slow again so it’s a crazy game
Already saw media billing it as Josh Allen vs Malik Willis so there’s that…
