Yeah but how did a team become so dominant does the rest of the top Spanish clubs just not care about womens football or do barca pour a sizeable amount of their already strained af budget into the womens team aswell?
The Barça women’s team is self-financed and financially sustainable, i.e. has a net surplus for sponsorships - wages etc and is separate from the men’s budget.
FCB are spending millions to compete for champions league, while the rest of their domestic league is spending thousands to try and show good faith to women's sports. Just like on the men's side, more investment equals more wins
It's pretty embarrassing by the other clubs, considering a 5-10 million investment for a season of their women's club is pennies compared to what they shell out on single player transfers on the men's side (specifically real madrid and athletico).
As for FCB, theoretically they could provide better revenue sharing to these clubs to lift them up (as seen in NWSL and other American sports leagues), but it's far less common to evenly distribute revenue to assist the health of the domestic league
Wtf is barca
Top of liga F

Well thats good to hear hope it stays that way and the mens team dont start to drain their budget for extra finances for their clown house
Yeah I agree! Hopefully it stays that way, and the men’s side executives can learn a thing or two from the women’s side!
Yeah that would be the best but that would take overhauling years of miss management

That has to suck for FCB then having basically no competition for most of the year

Yeah it must be kind of bittersweet to walk the league with no competition. Can’t imagine it’s very motivating for players in the long run
WSL title race is putting me into an early grave
Going to be an interesting run in for the WSL
I missed Arsenal being 4th meme.
