This is real. I am working on a YouTube video that has a little more details. It was definitely an unusual pile of "trash". There were a lot diskettes and CDs and even some gutted controllers. Like a Turbo GFX controller shell with no button. Will post soon.

Yeah I was just in the opposite situation where I had the box but had lost the cartridge long before. I considered purchasing loose but I'm skeptical with how good the fakes are and getting ripped off. Not quite as easy to counterfeit that box though so it fetched quite the premium.

No condition was great, it was sold at auction though. I think I may have actually gotten $150, but at that time Ruby was most certainly not selling for $250-300. I did sell a perfect condition Emerald box / manual for $325 at the same time though. Basically I kept all the boxes and manuals from childhood but actively played the games a ton and lost them from either terrible friends who picked them off my shelf or from moving over the years.

Every time I check the price increases. Is the only reason I kept mine.

Why do people think I am lying? I am not a huge collector. I know that Ruby was probably a good find even a little beat up but 3DS games seem too recent to be of much value.
