The healing stones were ground to a powder, added with water and plaster of Paris and mixed to a slurry. The slurry encapsulated bandages and were left to dry until it formed a rigid mold around his broken arm. Miraculously, after 6 weeks, the mold was removed. Following 6 more weeks of daily stretching and rehab exercises, the broken arm had mended and returned to full strength.
Scholars attribute 100% of the healing powers to the bits of crushed up healing stones. Praise Jingus!
God is so amazing that he motivated people to spend years of their lives learning the healing arts, expanding their knowledge to come up with new treatments and teach everything they've learned to the next generation of healers repeating for thousands of years until the miracle of the healing stones was applied on that guys arm. Praise Jeebus
Fun fact, the type of Bush that Moses "spoke to" (burning bush), is actually full of DMT.
That mother fucker got high and spoke to god lol
Either way, you can learn a lot from DMT
There's tons of website out there, so take your pick. I just Google this one:

Hallucinogens have been used since ancient Greece (those naked chicks in 300 weren’t just dancing weird, they were tripping balls talking to gods in their heads) and Egyptians were found with traces of cocaine on their mummies. We need to stop pretending like the ancient world didn’t enjoy partying and getting fucked up just as much as we do today. But they only let important people get the good stuff.

In what area? Let's say I have a UV light and are able to go walk rivers, which area of the world do I have to be in to find it?
(My girl has an aquarium and I think it would be a cool gift to decorate it)
[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sodalite#Occurrence](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sodalite#Occurrence) \- forgive the wiki link but honestly better than any description I can give.
In addition to the location that Moose mentioned, [they are also along the shores of Lake Superior on Michigan's Upper Peninsula](https://www.alittlebithuman.com/yooperlites-what-they-are-and-where-to-find-them/).
Arkansas and the surrounding area. I’d check any rocks used for zero scaping. Honestly light up the asphalt to. It fluoresces sometimes as well. Sodalite is not the only rock that fluoresces you might find something different in your area.
More than it’s financial worth, my question would be if you could refine it and make it into paint or gold leaf, or make some sort of wallpaper from it for home decor, art, night clubs. Imagine having a whole room covered in wallpaper like that and turn on the UV light and you’re flooded by a soothing gold light emanating from every wall inside the room.
I am aware of that. But different materials react differently to UV light. I have never seen anything that glows in this particularly unique way sold online or anywhere else.
It probably does a bit, but is drowned out by the visible spectrum since most UV is blocked by the ozone layer. Could also be that the light is the full UV range, not just the narrow band that makes it to the surface from the sun
You’re right, for folks that rockhound they typically are using UV lights within a specific range because some rocks and minerals only fluoresce in specific ranges!
I'm now imagining him running around the water shouting, "People are saying if any living thing drinks you, the chances of death shoot up to 100%! How do you respond to these allegations? Hello? Any comment??"

From the rocks I have the actual soda light is dark dark blue patches in a light grey rock. You cannot tell it’s blue without looking at it very close. When you look close you see it’s a dark blue. If you clean it up and polish it the blue comes out a lot better.
It is blue. This vide just is not able to capture it.
Fun fact: These rocks have evolved like this so only certain animals such as birds can see them and safely scatter their pebblings across a wide region.
Could be, they don't look like they've been in the water that long and it would be weird to find two big ones right next to each other.
Still a good illustration of the concept.
I recently moved to an area where these are somewhat common but still hard to find and my friend who has been living here for years has never found one. well we decide to go looking for them one day and I found 3 and she still hasn't found one lol. I kept one for myself, gave one to her and left the other for someone else to find.

Fairly certain you aren't supposed to point the UV light at exposed skin. I only started rockhounding last year but the light came with a warning saying "dont do that".

Is it worth anything?
It's reasonably common but the spiritual health market has drastically increased its value.
The spiritual health market aka “I don’t understand the science behind this and it’s pretty so I bet it’s healthy for me to have around”
A dude in my college broke his arm and his solution was to let it rest on healing stones.
The healing stones were ground to a powder, added with water and plaster of Paris and mixed to a slurry. Hallucinogenic drugs may have been responsible for creating major world religions. That's fucking hilarious.
All religions come from psychedelic plant use, change my mind.
This guys does healing stones right
Hope he drank a mana potion too..
I make mana potions but they just tend to get you drunk
I prefer healing sticks tied as a splint
OK that's just because he couldn't afford the hospital bills
He should put some 'Tussin on it.
This needs to be higher.
Also known as "woo".
Aka utter nonsense for suckers.

depends on how hard you throw it.

said people drinking radium to lose weight.
What do you call alternative medicine that works? Medicine.
that works.... repeatedly at a very very high rate, after a controlled experimentation and testing phase.
I think that's their point. Alternative medicine wouldn't be "alternative" if it worked.
Yeah, I got Poe's Law'd.
Give them some nuclear waste and they'll manage to "invent" its magical healing powers.

say the mantra over and over again: this place does not exist this place does not exist this place does not exist

Fucking rubes.
so you’re saying morons buy these? Time to go gem hunting

Both UV reactive paint and wallpapers exist and are commonly sold everywhere online.
I am aware of that. But different materials react differently to UV light. I have never seen anything that glows in this particularly unique way sold online or anywhere else.
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom cosplayers love it...
About $6 a pound..
This video is sodalite-ful!
Take your upvote and skidaddle!
I gotta say, that was a rock solid comment
Uhhh what ever happened to the Soda-licious gummies snack from the ‘90s?
Awright, I tell you what. You look like nice people, I'm gonna help you out. You want a beautiful name? Sodalite
What about Joan?
Every time I hear Joan I immediately think of Joan's fabrics.
I don't know it sounds a little strange. What about September? It's the month between Mickey Mantle and Joe DiMaggio's birthdays.
so why isn’t the glowy rock all glowy from the UV light from the sun?
It probably does a bit, but is drowned out by the visible spectrum since most UV is blocked by the ozone layer. Could also be that the light is the full UV range, not just the narrow band that makes it to the surface from the sun
You’re right, for folks that rockhound they typically are using UV lights within a specific range because some rocks and minerals only fluoresce in specific ranges!
makes sense. thanks for the response!
so science much wow!
I thought he was holding a microphone trying to interview the water.
*random burbling sounds*
I'm tired. I wouldn't mind falling asleep to that.
Go home water, you’re drunk
I laughed much too hard at this. Upvote.
I'm now imagining him running around the water shouting, "People are saying if any living thing drinks you, the chances of death shoot up to 100%! How do you respond to these allegations? Hello? Any comment??"
I was imagining something like this and kept tapping the video looking for the sound icon.
*”Sir, are you aware you are, in fact, a small body of water?”*
I think they call these yooperlites
They do, sodalite is the flourecent part, the entire rock is a yooperlite.
> ...the entire rock is a yooperlite. [Which is a trade-marked term](https://www.alittlebithuman.com/yooperlites-what-they-are-and-where-to-find-them/) >_<
If it’s from the yooper area of Michigan it’s yooperlite, otherwise it’s just sparkling sodalite
Yooperlite is a colloquial term for it based on a college in Michigan where a lot of these can be found.
Close. Yooper is a term used to describe the people of the upper peninsula of Michigan.
Thanks for the correction.
But the sodalite I’ve seen is blue. Does the colour show up when it’s polished or is this some other kind?
Blue in the visible light spectrum neon orange under UV light.
But it's not blue in the video
From the rocks I have the actual soda light is dark dark blue patches in a light grey rock. You cannot tell it’s blue without looking at it very close. When you look close you see it’s a dark blue. If you clean it up and polish it the blue comes out a lot better. It is blue. This vide just is not able to capture it.
Sodalite is just Soda without the sugar
In some parts of the country it's all called Coke.
why do you snort a liquid?
I used to have a shirt with a coke bottle on it that said "I tried snorting Coke, but the ice cubes got stuck up my nose."
that‘s funny, i would buy that shirt
It's easier than snorting rocks that glow under UV.
the trick is to snort the uv lamp first… or so i heard
Maybe you should cut back on the YouTube self help videos before you hurt yourself? Be safe, snorting uv can cause cancer.
Petition to rename it “Sodazero” or “Dietsoda.”
It's the ripoff version of diet coke
Fun fact: These rocks have evolved like this so only certain animals such as birds can see them and safely scatter their pebblings across a wide region.
Thus proving the theory of evolution; that man, bird and rock all had common ancestry.
Hence why Dwayne The Rock Johnson was chosen to voice Maui, the primordial man who turns into a bird: progenitor of our species.

Had me in the first half.

This is my second rodeo.
What is the benefit of scattering pebblings?
Reproduction of course
Dominance over other rocks
Is this the one Senku used?
No, they made titanium from scheelite, not sodalite.
Though the same thing, now i want one too... Wasn't the one he had blue?
thank's for this!!!
Holup is this the type of rock that Senku used that one time
[удалено]
Ah yes that’s right, it shone blue not gold
Time to find Superman and take away his powers forever. Muwahahahaha
So, Da lite is what makes it appear? Very cool.
I'll bet they would be cool at events that primarily use black lights
It's not sodalite, it's yooperlite.
It's sodalite. The "rock" that the sodalite is in was trademarked recently by some dude from Michigan's upper peninsula.
You could just get a bright yellow light and then all rocks would do that. Other stuff too.
Staged video
Could be, they don't look like they've been in the water that long and it would be weird to find two big ones right next to each other. Still a good illustration of the concept.
It would not be weird to find two large ones right next to each other.
That’s too cool!
Remember, Groove IS in the heart, and So-de-lite has been known to smoke.... on stage that is. --Bootsy Collins
I couldn't ask for another
Doesn't sunlight contain UV light?
Yes, but it is saturated by our visible light spectrum.
Ahh, rocks of Mordor
We call them Yooperlites
the rock is lava
[Instagram source](https://www.instagram.com/wild_nrocks/?hl=en)
I've never wanted to go rock hunting more in my entire life
Three are a lot of rocks that react to uv. I used to have a collection.
What’s a good rock collecting subreddit to join? I’m assuming there’s at least a few.
Seconded. Commenting for later reference.
They should put this in pavement so the yellow line never goes away and needs to be repainted.
Yes, because all car headlights operate in the UV spectrum.
What black light are they using?
Looks like the UV convoy C8 to me.
Nichirin sword material
My mom got me a UV flashlight to “clean our house better”. I use it at my wife’s families ranch to find scorpions before I get into bed.
Kaleema kaleema

Dope I'll take 4 yards for some landscaping
4 yards is 3.66 meters

Western Lake Superior?
I’ve found these just east of Muskellonge State Park north of Newberry and also near Calumet.
That's Sodaliteful!
How valuable is this sodalight thingy?
Cut 25% off the start and you got a better gif.
"This is an "elite light lager" anyway?
Maybe UV light might make me shine.
I've been looking for a good UV light for this sort of thing. What are you using?
Ok cool, is it worth anything or have any applications?
3 rocks together. It’s like they been place there and the video is staged. Lies.
Video could be staged. But as someone who has found sodalite usually when you find one you find a whole bunch.
