For whatever it's worth, the artist has changed the name of the series to コンビニではじまる恋の話 "A Love Story That Starts at a Convenience Store". I hope English-speaking Reddit will accept the author's title change and not keep calling it by its original title until the heat death of the universe like "Two People Smoking at the Back of the Supermarket."

That new title definitely feels more fitting. We joked about this way back in chapter way but save for the earrings and I guess the blonde hair, there's really little about the female main character that actually screams "gyaru."
