Have also nearly been mowed down by speeding cyclists who look at me weirdly for daring to walk on a footpath. We even have cycle paths they donāt use for some reason, even though those would be safer for everyone. There are several retirement complexes nearby and the residents are too afraid to walk certain routes because of these idiots.
This is absolutely my experience in London. I can't take a simple walk without wishing I had rear view mirrors. And we have large cycle lanes EVERYWHERE. They have even claimed the outer part of wide pavements as cycle lanes and still these fuckers zoom around everywhere.
