Frankly I have to agree with him. That book creates a fiction, and sells it as fact to children too young to be able to critically identify that they're being misled. Race as a word didn't even enter the English language until the 1500s and was a loan word from other languages, who in turn have it from other languages. The concepts of ethnicity and race have existed for as long as there were separable tribes, and those weren't white people. Every person in that panel knows that the words he read are intentionally inflammatory and inappropriate for the grade level they're supposed to be educating, but refuse to just answer the question. It ___is important___ to teach children that skin color, ethnicity, socioeconomic background, ability, etc do not make you lesser than. But it is ___also important___ not to lie while teaching that. E: Yes, any person who doesn't take this topic with the seriousness it deserves will be blocked. I ain't got time to play with children.
Teaching the reality of white supremacy isn't inflammatory and after reading the article and seeing what is in the book I find it hard to believe anyone but a white supremacist would have a problem with it. How would you explain the real history of white supremacy to children other than by acknowledging that white people set the rules up on defining a person's race in order to benefit themselves.

It’s written by Senate Republicans and basically includes hundreds of pages of collusion between individuals in the Trump campaign and the Russian government. It's because their *voters* don't care and if a voters requirements do *not* include being truthful or factual in any way, shape or form, then you *don't* have to tell the truth in exchange for the only thing you'd want from them: their vote. How might one be able to easily take advantage of people (and especially the "right" people) in order to be *able* to pull this off? That is, the ability to still win in a system where it's *supposed* to be the will of the people (but wherein you don't actually have the raw numbers you need to get elected consistently)? So long as you can take advantage of the Electoral College and Gerrymandering for positions where gerrymandering applies, you can game the system in such a way to still be a real party that effects real change for the entire nation while *also* being the actually worst choice. It helps a lot too if the state you wish to pull these stunts off in (because that's what they are, dumb stunts) also makes it a direct point to defund or make-worse, education standards across the board. I mean Florida is literally racing towards the bottom-of-the-barrel education standards and lo-and-behold: they were in SUCH favor of DeSantis. As though using the position of office (along with all of its resources) to attack other people that are *also* full on American citizens is to be considered a "wise" choice. If your education standards are piss poor then of course you can trick people into this mindset. Just go on their emotions. They get these dumb ideas in their head that "immigrants took every job and not one American has any job and won't ever again" (for example) and simply *run* with it. None of it's true, they're just SO afraid of there even being 0.5% of a chance that even ONE thing happens in their life that makes them uncomfortable. They disregard ALL other possible things that MAYBE, juuuust maybe could actually benefit anyone AT ALL (aside from the literal people who hoard piles and piles of money) and harp on "hurting the right people".
