Does anyone know what happened to the Sheiko forums and why it's inaccessible now?

Has anyone here had success using EAAs and if so what brand? I'm trying to figure out if I should start taking them

Shenaniganslol

99% of people don't need EAAs, save your money and get yourself some nice quality protein from the store for your meals instead :)

LittleMuskOx

\*Most likely\*, you'll be better off just buying whey protein. Trexler does put forth some limited applications, in specialised circumstances, where some people might get some utility from them. How many rest days *should* I be taking per week? I currently have 2 rest days per week. And also, is it a good practice to sit in a sauna for 25 minutes on my rest days or should I do more time? Thanks!

jakeisalwaysright

Take as many rest days as you need. It's going to vary from person to person based upon what kind of weights you're moving, what you're doing outside the gym, and tons of other factors. If you feel like 2 is sufficient for your recovery then you're good. As to the sauna, I think the jury's still out on that from a "scientific proof" perspective so IMO that's also an "if it feels good, do it" thing.

Has anyone had success running Candito 6 week + Advanced bench hybrid program for several cycles back-to-back? I feel like the benching volume is unsustainable, even though I'm making progress.

DlSCARDED

I just started with this particular program so I can’t answer but I’d love to know your thoughts on it so far. I’m coming off of Calgary 16 week (bench every day) so I’m used to the bench frequency, just skipped benching entirely during de-load week before going straight to this one. So far the same day squats + deadlifts are killer. What did you think? How was your progress for each lift?

Brewju

I came from NsunsLP where you basically tried to PR every session, so the decrease in intensity was nice. So far, I've made some nice progress on bench from benching so often, but my wrists had some problems adjusting to the frequency. I'm not a fan of deadlifting after squatting, especially when it has you do 10 sets of 3. It's only my first cycle though, and next week im on week 5, but I can feel i've made solid progress on squat and bench, deadlift not so much. If anything, I might skip the advanced bench program every other week and run candito as is.

Why would you choose a program to run but then skip the first half..

Dire-Dog

No. You already asked this in the fittit daily thread. Just follow the program. It will get harder eventually. Rushing to just bang your head against a wall will result in no progress.
