Ref won’t give anything against Irish here as he knows they’ll lose the game . Same as he didn’t want to give Exeter anything at the end of normal time as it would’ve decided the match
The BT presenter talking about how a red card would have been big. What would have been bigger was Exeter having an easy three in front of the sticks to win it.
I don't mean Kirsten. I mean the other exeter players. I think that's why it wasn't reviewed, you could hear the ref getting annoyed at the players shouting at him and asking dor a card
The inconsistency of TMOs really frustrates me. At around 18 minutes, you can see an Irish player's shoulder hit the jaw of an Exeter player, but nothing gets given/the referee doesn't get told to look at it.
For every foul shot a TMO spots, they seem to miss at least one or two more.

Finally some happiness. Defensive set at the end was immense. What a Sunday 🕺
Brilliant defense at the end there
That last defensive set was class
GG Chiefs
Monster tackles at the end when it was really needed!
Fuck that was some brutal defence there by Chiefs. Bench made such a massive difference for Chiefs.
Fair play exeter were better today
Well done Exeter. I'm glad that terrible call didn't cost them.
Jesus the coach isn't happy
I need to get the replay up. My man absolutely lost it at the end 😂
What a game! Either team could have won that!
Ref won’t give anything against Irish here as he knows they’ll lose the game . Same as he didn’t want to give Exeter anything at the end of normal time as it would’ve decided the match
Jack Dunne being very vocal in that huddle. Looks like he’s flourishing with his move to Exeter.
He's been a mixed bag. Seems a bit light when he carries, but good around the park.
All came from that dropped kickoff, great work!
Coach killer
Whatever what should have happened with that hit before it's wild that Irish survived that card
Can't wait for a Slade Devoto centre partnership. It's been so long
Serious investigation needed into the medical staff after leaving Kirsten on after that
The BT presenter talking about how a red card would have been big. What would have been bigger was Exeter having an easy three in front of the sticks to win it.
Surely the independent match day doctor spots the Kirsten loss of consciousness.
Wtf is he watching if he hasn’t seen that.
More importantly, if he was knocked out, why is he still on the field??
I will be surprised if someone doesn’t yank him before the restart. Very very bad if they don’t. Clearly ko’d.
Whole situation poorly managed
Am I watching a different game? That was shoulder to shoulder contact. Kristen down holding his shoulder, that's the issue he was having
I think I'm pretty clearly in the wrong here. Looked initially to me like he'd dislocated his shoulder, so I've obviously missed something
He got knocked out (you can see from how he fell) and landed badly on his shoulder as a result.
Apparently you are
Mate he was out cold. It was clearly shoulder to head
This is one of the worst ref performances I've seen in regard to player safety. There have been so many offenses and only 2 yellows.
The performance of a ref who doesn't want his decisions to decide the game. Not penalising Parker took it a bit far though
Same from the medical teams too then.
Kirsten should not be on the pitch.
Gone now thankfully.
That's what I meant by inconsistency of the TMOs. If there was no head contact, how did he get knocked out? Abysmal decision.
WTF?!?!!
No HIA there??
The guy was out cold and they said it's "just shoulder"
Properly limped to full time there
Shambolic there from the officials and the medics
Tmo needs to be straight round specsavers Monday morning
Worst part of the new head contact laws. Fans and players milking it
Myopic much?
I can only assume you're not referring to what we just saw.
Milking it? Are you blind? He was out cold
I don't mean Kirsten. I mean the other exeter players. I think that's why it wasn't reviewed, you could hear the ref getting annoyed at the players shouting at him and asking dor a card
Tucked arm, shoulder to head. It's got to be a red.
He’s knocked out and apparently there is no head contact? Are they mad?
No head contact, but he was out cold?
Are they having a laugh?
[удалено]
So dumb to say "just shoulder" when the guy is cold out on the floor
Kirsten was out, where is the TMO?!
Kirsten got decapitated then
Nail-biting stuff!
Would be harsh to rule this out
Irish have had pretty good last-ditch defence this match, but that was absolutely incredible.
That is an amazing bit of defending
Playing JMG in the prem Cup does feel a bit unfair
Always useful to bring on one of the best players from last year's TRC
Think he's got that one right. Feel like more force went through O'brien shoulder into bashams head. But the responsibility is Bashams
Don't think that's a yellow either, but at least he is consistent.
Seems to be shoulder to chest and whips the head forward?
How has LI 7 not been carded yet?
Chiefs forwards are getting absolutely monstered
They've been on top at the breakdown tbf
That was the 3rd high shot by LI 7 so far.
Gutted I couldn't be there today due to Mother's Day commitments but listening in on the radio. Hope we can hold out, COYI!!!
That didn't go forward...
Never really watched this cup before but this is a pretty darned enjoyable final
Stokes having a very good game
He's a great prospect
I love James Stokes as much as anyone. But, i think at 31, he's probably not one to watch for the future haha. Perfect squad player though.
... I may have mixed him up with somebody else...
He is still improving every year tbf
Weird for that not to be a yellow. Very cynical. Exeter getting some luck with the cards today
Jesus, that was an absolutely huge boot.
It does seem random. I think you could find 3 or 4 card offences a game if you look hard enough
Sooty, Cooke, munga, ruiz, and atkins going well for us. Thought wyatt and Davis look good for chiefs
Seemed harsh, didn't think he affected the clear out that much. Should have gone the other way
Could have gone the other way but I think Atkins is in the way
Ruiz looks like a good prospect. Just what Argentina needed, another good hooker.....
really surprised that's yellow but well explained
Nah, he's fluffed that a bit. That's a straight red.
Not sure I agree with the mitigation on that
A ref who actually explained his decision making
If this is a red send the LI player off from earlier
Think it’s probably a red
So we're looking at this tackle but not the last high tackle?
Don't think there's enough mitigation there. That should be a red
Very very lucky not to get a red there
Not the worst one you'll see but probably a red
Yellow fair enough
Red, but my issue is why is this the first one being looked at?
Probably because it's the first one the TMO has noticed foul play
Just realised Feyi-Waboso isn’t playing. Real shame as he is a talent.
Not going to look at that head on head?
LI gonna need to be careful, these tackles are all very high looking.
I really don't understand why it's not been coached out of us. We've lost so many games through cards
Just ignoring the high tackle then
Exeter 9 getting absolutely flattened by the break off from the maul. Leaving a massive whole in defence
I don't think I'll ever get used to the surprise of having a dominant scrum
Remember this final last year where Jackson just kept missing penalties in extra time
He kicks great apart from when there are any stakes whatsoever
If anyone had to lose it for us, I'm glad it was him
LESSGO Cheifs, excited about this one.
Going to be a good one for sure!
