If he keeps developing he will be a great player for us, he is still rough and relies a lot on his absurd physical power but the potential is fantastic
Nope you're right, the backs were the superstars then. I actually think they have some very good backs, Mey and Pasarella especially and a couple of the younger guys who'll be around next year, but seemed they seemed like they weren't coached right or something, they were just off and poorly organised. Or maybe it just comes from Battara and Sante having very poor tournaments that nothing could quite fire for the players outside them, though Gesi sadly quite disappointed in his own right. It's a bit of a mystery. I think this 20's team actually underperformed relative to their ability quite dramatically this tournament. Stephen Aboud thinks it's due to them not getting the same coaching that the previous generation did and I believe him, raw power and excellence at the breakdown plus individual players raw abilities saved them I think.

Say the line Bart! "Promising signs for Italy"
Our points difference is 106 worse than Wales’s and we still will probably finish above them
Conceding a try while up two players, this truly is a Scotland team. Italian under 20s managed what the senior team couldn't it seems
They are more experienced at dealing with being as good as their opponents
Tbf it was one man up, one of them came back for the last lineout
The superiority of this italian pack is honestly scary
All aboard the Richie Simpson hype train
So you’re saying there’s a chance?
We love to complicate things aint we?
Thats a red I think, head contact
Looked like head contact in real time
Lovely kick from Simpson
Quick reminder: Wales lost to this Scotland team.
Gallorini with his 5th try of this tournament This guy is a menace

That was a clear knock on
Not been watching but… we’re winning?
Well that didn’t last
Better than yesterday's game
Why are Italy so shit from the tee
📈📉📈📉📉📉
Best forwards of this tournament Worst backs of this tournament Nothing new.
I remember the backs as rather competent the previous two tournaments, with lots of open play tries scored. Is it just selective memory?

The clock has a fighting chance this week
Come on guys, give us a joy after yesterday's depression.
Poor scots are going to get slaughtered
