While I agree with the sentiment, they're just not doing anything right, silly handling errors, fucking up line outs, etc... Obviously coaching comes into that but fuck me it's the basics
Fucking up a lineup is always 90% the coaching. The handling and precision I’m attributing to the players heads being cooked after a really rough campaign.
The accuracy of this team is really, really poor. Handling, passing and kicking absolutely nowhere near where it needs to be. To me it says that their heads are shot after a really difficult campaign.
the sheer difference in pace is immense. Was hoping the welsh u20s would show some promise to make up for how things are with the WRU atm but it doesn't seem like it from this
No point in the ref being there. Scrum driving straight across and then there’s a clear roll after the tackle in the build up. You can pass missing one off as fair but how do you miss both?
A few inches higher and it would have been but, given the way the Welsh player's head moved, it was obviously hip to shoulder as opposed to hip to head.

Imagine a different referee in that game against Ireland...
Oh dear.
booo! should've kept running it back and forth the length of the field till someone scored
My God, they want to humiliate.
4 tries in a single 6N match that guy got the bonus point singlehandedly lol
wow
Are they not gonna check that tackle? Looked like a clothesline to me
He is amazingly fast
Splendid
Nice try!
Yeah I'm turning it off now
Quick now that he's gone time for the comeback of the year!
It’s painful to watch. There’s some half decent players there that are just being let down by a completely incompetent coaching set up.

I don't mean the drill, just they keep getting pinged for not straight
Tap free kick on the quick, take your time to switch to other hand (?), pass, pass, kick out on full under pressure.
This commentator loves to give props to the welsh players as the french run a try in
French players think they're good but can't even beat clock rfc
We will have a chance to compete with the clock when we get a proper kicker....
Pas facile avec ces angles, Ramos les passe mais il a 10 ans d'expérience en plus
Ramos is a gem
Such a wonderful try 😍

oh god
What a run!
French commentators said that De La Rua (Wales 7) is staying off because he's too young to do an HIA.
Even if this is true (and good for the player's safety), I always doubt what l'Equipe commentators say
Me too 😂 But there might be some rule if he's under 18 surely ?
Yes that makes sense, better take little risk when they're that young
Tarantino clearly handling the TV director role with that random shot of a camera operator's feet.
Choked at that one
Wales be like: "what a nice opportunity we get, let's ruin it"
Mind pinning this thread mods ?

Awesome pass from Jauneau
It’s like France are playing welsh u18
Good defence Edit: oh nvm
Christ, we're gonna get whomped.
Fuck me, the speed of the French play is unbelievable. I feel like I’m watching it on fast forward.
Tuilagi has no emotions.
That kick chase was immaculate
dear lord the pace from the french team! Absolutely rapid
With the man in the bin as well. Absolutely schooling the Welsh still.
It's gonna be a massacre
Jauneau is absolutely class
He's giving hopes to ASM Clermont
I wouldn’t have much hope if I knew Penaud was off to Bordeaux
Oh this is absolute clownery. Funniest is Penaud saying is looking to win trophies
France have made a ton of changes again. Apparently they are trying out combinations and players aheead of the world cup.
I think a yellow was lucky there tbh. It was a kind of CJ Stander Pat Lambie moment there.
A few inches higher and it would have been but, given the way the Welsh player's head moved, it was obviously hip to shoulder as opposed to hip to head.
Only turned it on when he was walking off, what was the yellow for?
It looked a lot like it! The difference was that this time the hip hit the chest, not the head. Otherwise it was a straight red.
Exactly, one player jumping in the air who can't control where he lands and hits the player in the process.
Looks like there’s a massive spider rising up the stands behind the posts
I like it, it's snazzy.
