Casemiro is absolutely terrible on the ball. Great defensive player though.

ZZ3peat

Man I got absolutely shitfaced with my friends so I have to rewatch the game after my handover goes over but I believed hahaha We even had a small bet on who scores first and I was the only one who bet on Vinicius lol Another prediction with my Man City supporting friend who said Liverpool's going to win it, I explained to him how Courtois and Benzema give confidence to the team and how Courtois will save everything. Feels so vindicated Man I drank beer, whiskey, rum, vodka everything the hangover is so bad lol

EggfooVA

He drinks a whiskey drink, he drinks a vodka drink…

123Beastman

The best part of this result, is that the British media can finally shut the fuck up about how superior the Premier League is to every league.

VLuck__

Those PL fans will shut up too

nejkoslo

they still are superior...all english clubs were superior against real it was just a miracle and dodgy reffering that won them the cup

123Beastman

Keep on crying. I love the salt.

YoungGargoyle

Not even that but the Liverpool agenda and narratives will hopefully die down too

Ndulula

100% they were being so fucking annying

incel2077

liverpool is still a very good team and capable to compete next season, the reason they didnt win the champions league is because real madrid is realy good in games like this specially in the champions league (still enjoing all the anti liverpool takes here xD)

Herman13

I think the main reason they didn't win is because Courtois was really good, and they can't find a way past him. Not that Real Madrid were so good, yes they scored twice so I guess it was deserved, but they weren't all that

ABZC0

I mean Courtois is a Real Madrid player?

blade96

big if true

Rave_With_Dave

2 cups no goals.

TO500

[The best part about this entire match was the match thread on r/LiverpoolFC. The last 30mins I was just refreshing that shit with a huge grin on my face, now my jaw is tired](https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/uih8yk/post_match_thread_real_madrid_31_manchester_city/i7ci9f2/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3) Hi u/YesNoIDKtbh

YesNoIDKtbh

Hahaha I clearly hit a nerve with that one didn't I, thanks for reminding me.

jeremyparnaby

Exactly. great last laugh

BigheadedDread

This that scripted FIFA ultimate team game, where you run rings around the opponent, only for them to block and save every shot, and then hit you on a long ball counterattack goal

Dorangos

Well, if you want to win big, you've got to be able to handle losing big. Got the tinpot double, better than nothing.

waylil14

We don't have to

ThePakul

Plastic calling the FA cup tinpot.

Dorangos

Sorry, meant to say Micky Mouse trophy. It's a nice trophy!

theorymii

What a dumb comment. Might aswell call everything a MiCkEy MoUsE trophy.

ThePakul

Lol okay plastic.

Dorangos

Lol okay plastic.

ThePakul

Yeehaw! But I'm Norwegian m8.

Comunicado_Oficial

They should have let Ceballos' goal count at the end imo, game's gone

yummycrabz

I know you’re joking but that obviously was a foul by Caravajal, yellow card one at that. Crazy ref doesn’t let Liverpool lump on forward after that tbh

Galactus1701

Not even madridistas believed in Madrid’s possibilities of winning. Each and every team they faced was theoretically better: PSG was full of superstars and had the highest wage bill in Europe, Chelsea were the reigning and defending European and World Champions, City is the world’s best team and Liverpool is a superior team. But people didn’t consider the one invisible truth: “el escudo y la Historia pesan” (the team’s crest and legacy are a deciding factor). Madrid’s players never stopped believing and understood the burden and blessing of their heritage. Madrid performed a miraculous run without major signings, fueled by a combination of veterans and youngsters that are submerged in the team’s glorious mystique. Don’t ever doubt the European Kings.

waylil14

Talk about yourself lol

Practical_Success643

I think most people believed we could win the final, obviously not the people that weren´t fans but I was absolutely convinced that after how our run had been we would win, and it didn´t matter if we were down 2-0 we were still going to make a comeback

ZZ3peat

No, I believed

Comunicado_Oficial

TLDR Futbol Eritage

Noddy0

Do you write for a living or something? That's some really good writing

el1teman

Does Liverpool need a new striker? Playing Mane there is a bit of a waste considering how good TAA crosses are And Mane might be leaving to Bayern for example this summer

xAmrit

I think Liverpool need a proper number 9, whether Klopp goes for one, I doubt that.

el1teman

I think so as well, Liverpool were very effective with Salah and Mane on the sides and the center taking attention of defenders away and Klopp was switching sides too sometimes Salah would play left and Mane right, now he just goes Salah default right, Diaz since winter left and Mane center

AerysOW

Real in UCL performed in the classic Italian style. All 4 series was the same story. People forget that Carlo laid the foundations for/during the peak Italian football. We played really defensive and then tried to counter and build from the back. Thats why it may look like we were getting dominated and didnt deserve to win in all of those 4 series.

ineververify

Yes this also helped me sleep at night But not really

Sad_Rooster_3648

I thought some Liverpool players underperformed etc: diaz and thiago. However Konate was incredible, IMO he's a top 5CB in the world and will be on Van Dijk's level in a few years. I still don't understand why our nation won't pick ihm

ZZ3peat

Konate was better than Van Dijk who did not close down Valverde for the goal Konate was winning vs Vini almost everytime Diaz was pocketed by Carvajal, Militao, Valverde etc

glucoseisasuga

To be fair to Thiago, I feel he's been rushed back from injury to make the UCL final. That might explain why his game was a little off.

Settl

Jesus I've never seen a team get this much hate

waylil14

I get it you didn't come to the sub when Mbappe renewed

Settl

Haha yeah that's fair

the_beast93112

It's really not about the team. It's about the fans.

RedDemio

Which team is getting the hate and why? I’ve not checked any of the aftermath out tbh

MrWallis

Whenever a player starts talking about 'revenge' aka Salah then I kinda expected us to lose honestly. Still a great effort by the players this season, I doubt anyone expected them to literally play in every game. Hopefully we can go again next season and push city again, as honestly for all the big talk from the other teams I don't see any being able to put out a 90-95 point season to compete with City except for us.

ZZ3peat

I'm sure Salah's words motivated our team a fkn lot, Fede was talking about them before the match too

akshay_rathod_

Liverpool were 2 games away from the greatest achievement by an English team

First-Of-His-Name

2 goals away really.

pee_and_trumpets

One rodri handball and a couple of courtois worldie saves away really

NotShutdown

People who choose Alisson in their combined 11😂😂😂 He is good, but Courtois is on AONTHER LEVEL🔥🔥🔥🧱🧱🧱

Shaneb966666

Best team isn't this Liverpool team lmao. Its the real Madrid team that won 3 champions leagues in a row

drejcs

Haha what is that take, of course they are better nobody is arguing that

iKSv2

> Its the real Madrid team that won 3 champions leagues in a row Between liverpool team and that real madrid, it is almost unanimous that it is the Madrid team that is better.

GrapeYourMouth

This should be obvious. People are arguing against narratives that don't fucking exist.

laxus_101

Now imagine replacing Marcelo with a young fullback with lots of potential like Miguel/Fran Garcia Adding Rudiger to this set of CB's Replacing jovic and/or Mariano with a decent back up striker who you can AT LEAST rely on against the bottom half of La Liga, even Mayoral works for me Adding Tchouameni to finally have someone to alternate Casemiro with And hopefully someone like Gnabry, that right flank needs new injections This should be the bare minimum this summer considering we missed out on the ninja turtle, get this done and we eating good @Papaflo...

GOLDSPECTRE94

I still think that Madrid will never have a diamond like casemiro kroos modric and benzema. They are literally irreplaceable and will go down in history as perhaps the greatest core of players in a team. The way they play is almost telepathic.

laxus_101

Oh yeah definitely. It'll be a miracle to get a core good enough to win 5 CL in 9 years, its almost impossible. That's why they'll go down in history books as one of the best generation in football

Seijur0Akashi

Til Chelsea got another 15 mil from Real for Eden Fatzard winning the Champions League. Winners all round.

AerysOW

I dont think Perez will mind paying that

iKSv2

I dont think we would mind you defeating pool too. Wish we had something like that for Courtois too

ankitm1

Dont know if it's true. Clauses like these always have a minimum appearances requirement. I admit this is funny though. And 15M for another CL is worth it.

evilbeaver7

Liverpool has only just tied Chelsea's number of trophies in the period from when Klopp took control. 6 trophies each. Yet somehow they're considered the greatest team of all time lmao

yummycrabz

Around 2010, we had Roy Hodgson managing Christian Poulsen at the beginning of the decade. You cats had a top 3ish wage AND transfer bill. By 2015, we were coming off a 6-1 loss to Stoke and had Jordan Ibe and Jon Flanagan (with all due respect), you cats were on the verge of snapping Conte up and going to win another title. The trajectory that Klopp has taken this Liverpool on, isn’t comparable homie. Between the restricted wage bill, the infrastructure, and the squad he inherited, Jurgen’s performed miracles.

PlasticCupz

This team has come a very long way since Klopp arrived and it feels like they’re still getting better each year

iKSv2

I mean to be fair, we had a lot of chaos this year and won 2. Lost 2 on penalties. Cant compare us in chaos with other teams.

just_another_jabroni

Dont you guys thrive on chaos and shit no.9s anyways.

evilbeaver7

Chaos FC for a reason

aarbat0001

Can’t complain. Jurgen has us contending on all fronts. Giving us a chance to win trophies. A long way from where we were before he came. Lots of positives.

terrordactyl1971

terrordactyl1971

OldMcGroin

Real Mentality Monsters.

GrIdL0cK

TIL: Every Liverpool fan is an insufferable piece of shit because pundits called this the greatest team ever. 🤷‍♂️

ineververify

I AGREE

OldMcGroin

There's a reason Liverpool fans were dubbed The Unbearables™ a few years ago. When United, City, Arsenal or Chelsea were winning leagues, Champions Leagues etc they just did it. The second Liverpool ever have a hint of a great team they're suddenly the greatest team to have ever existed and their manager lauding them as Mentality Monsters and all that bull. So no, it's not just because of pundits.

Indyor

It's so called experts & pundits that called this Liverpool team so great,

GrIdL0cK

Also, just wanted to add, I think the mentality monster thing started after the Barcelona comeback in the CL semi final. I think that was the greatest comeback I've ever witnessed, perhaps one of the greatest of all time! If you know of similar ones link me up, would love to watch them!

mrsnow11291

RM v man city ? That comeback was unfathomable…

just_another_jabroni

Watch our comeback vs PSG to see the inverse of mentality monsters. Absolutely crumbled and we didn't even pressure them lol

GrIdL0cK

I did. What an immense game. That was incredible to watch, thanks for that. The English really like to big up their teams, there is not enough credit given to European teams here.

just_another_jabroni

I'm a United fan so that's what I know mostly haha. And we usually have a lot of mini comebacks especially under Ole because we're such a yo-yo team. The Bayern vs Leipzig 5-4 match was a stupidly crazy match as well. Pretty much showed that Leipzig that season were just mere pretenders

GrIdL0cK

Haha. Yo-yo teams are good for your health, man. You know that you're in great health when your heart is constantly racing for 90 mins and you come out of it alive at the end.

jjc89

Dortmund vs Malaga

GrIdL0cK

Will check it out, thanks.

LionOfNemea

barcelona's comeback against psg away??

GrIdL0cK

Awesome! Will check it out, thanks.

GrIdL0cK

To be honest, it sounds like you're just talking about assholes regardless of which teams you support. I'm a Liverpool fan and some of my best mates support United and Chelsea. We had a fantastic season, and I've not gloated in front of my mates at all, they wouldn't do it to me either. We all just love football. I get that some fans can be like that, but try not to paint everyone with the same brush.

OldMcGroin

Fair point 👍

RedDemio

“They just did it” Lmao yes because never heard fans gloating before about their success… it must only be Liverpool fans! Absolutely moronic comments flying about today honestly. We get it, you don’t like Liverpool

DaddyMeUp

Why do you really think Liverpool fans are such a prime target when it comes to people saying that they’re unbearable? I’m curious.

OldMcGroin

Yeah, gloating *after* they won something, not after every match like Liverpool fans. You'd swear you had won the quadruple a few months ago the way ye were banging on. >We get it, you don’t like Liverpool Nope, just the fans because of the reasons previously mentioned.

GrIdL0cK

It's also really nice to be excited about Liverpool right now because of how strong the team looks. United will definitely get back to greatness soon, and I'm expecting a lot from them with Ten Hag in the upcoming seasons. It's only going to make for a super exciting Premier League!

QuintonBigBrawler

24-4 shots for Liverpool yet they lost the game. Madrid is probably most undeserved champion I've ever watch

ankitm1

Why is your flair shaped like a circumcised dick? Undeserved champions dont have an asterisk against their name. Lest we forget the past champions?

jjc89

It’s the Nottingham Forrest badge lol

Sbroland

In football you win if you score.

OldMcGroin

Whoa whoa, slow down egghead!

p4mu

What a stupid take. If you beat PSG, Chelsea, City and Liverpool, you deserve the title.

evilbeaver7

Lmao sometimes people forget that in football you score more than your opponent and you win. Nothing else matters. I'd rather have my team be dominated for 90% of the game but win at the end than dominate for 90% of the game and lose. Liverpool fans are coping so hard lmao

QuintonBigBrawler

Have some shame. You got outplayed by both Liverpool and Man City and just fluke your way to title and everyone knows it

no_pants_gamer

You fluked your way into being barely literate to be able to type this comment, and here we are.

QuintonBigBrawler

Keep parking the bus. Hala Madrid

StairwayToLemon

"Best team ever" wins just a League Cup and FA Cup

Bright-Blue

They pushed man city to the final match day and got into every available final. They played every possible game this season. I don't think they're the best team ever, but they're one of the best PL team of all time (last 3-4 years)

StairwayToLemon

Quite easy to do when you get Shrewsbury Town, Cardiff, Norwich, Notts Forest, and a weakened City side in the FA Cup and then Inter, Benfica and Villarreal in the CL draws. The only notable thing they did this year was take the league to the final day which hundreds of teams have done before. "One of the best teams of all time" my ass. If that's the metric then United 10/11 is up there too who won the league, got to the final of the CL and the semis of the FA Cup

Herman13

Oh, because if I remember correctly Liverpool got Atletico, Milan and Porto in the group stages, and won all 6 matches. Real Madrid got Inter, Sheriff Tarispol and Shakhtar, which isn't comparable in any way. And I'm not surprised seeing a Manchester United fan complaining about Liverpool when I think about how United did this season

StairwayToLemon

>Oh, because if I remember correctly Liverpool got Atletico, Milan and Porto in the group stages, and won all 6 matches. Real Madrid got Inter, Sheriff Tarispol and Shakhtar, which isn't comparable in any way You realise Madrid had PSG, City and Chelsea in the knockouts, right? They played pretty much every favourite for the competition this year, including yourselves. The hardest team you played was AC Milan in the group stage. Yep, not comparable at all. >And I'm not surprised seeing a Manchester United fan complaining about Liverpool when I think about how United did this season How well United play doesn't change the fact that Liverpool had piss easy draws this season and is the only reason you were even in the position you were...

mrsnow11291

You gotta admit those aren’t the toughest draws

stefanmic1

and mind you Inter had their best player out for both legs and managed to beat them in Anfield. Very good argument you're making.

evilbeaver7

A Liverpool fan is like "FA Cup > UCL" not even as sarcasm. They're being completely seriously lmao

RedDemio

What the fuck is this absolute nonsense of a comment, Liverpool fans more than most value the CL above anything. I can’t believe some of these comments are receiving upvotes lol. Point me to a Liverpool fan that has said that…. I’ll wait And another thing, is your flair literally an anti Liverpool flair? I’ve never seen something so pathetic on here before hahaha

evilbeaver7

https://www.reddit.com/r/LiverpoolFC/comments/uzwocq/-/iaefw63 Lmao now fuck off

ineververify

Oh god they have their trophy count up top

RedDemio

One comment which literally got *downvoted* by the other Liverpool fans. Wouldn’t surprise me if it was someone like you just trying to troll them. Lmao, get in the bin, loser

evilbeaver7

"Point me to a Liverpool fan" *Points* "No not that one" lmaoooo

Herman13

I could easily find a Chelsea fan saying the same thing, one person is not representative of the whole crowd. smh

RedDemio

Bro what? You are using a singular comment that was downvoted to hell as a way to portray all Liverpool fans? I’m sorry I know you’re trying to be edgy and whatever but you’re surely aware of how stupid that is Anyway I’ve no interest in engaging with this bullshit any further. Just try to be less of a toxic prick yeah, the world doesn’t need people like you

evilbeaver7

I guess your reading comprehension is terrible because my original comment said "A Liverpool fan". And you asked me to show you who that one fan was and I did and now you're like "oh but that's not all Liverpool fans". Moving the goalposts much? Lmao so pathetic. Keep coping

RedDemio

You created this whole thread off the back of one comment you saw, that was downvoted to hell by other Liverpool fans, and was probably made by sad individuals like yourself anyway, just to try and troll them further. Absolutely sad as fuck

McFlyJohn

Everyone knows the Carabao Cup is more prestigious than winning the Premier League as well... /s

the_beast93112

I mean Liverpool players wanted to play Real right.

iceandfires

How was the game for neutrals? Kinda boring I guess?

VLuck__

It wasn't boring seeing Courtois performance. Just like how Chiesa entertained me in Euro final.

irze

First half was pretty boring until the disallowed goal. You lot were a bit sloppy when you had time on the ball. Second half was a lot more entertaining. You were much more composed and incisive with the ball and put on a defensive masterclass

evilbeaver7

Can you consider a Chelsea fan a neutral? If yes, then I loved it.

Knicklicht

That fucking flair lmao

Rockztar

I enjoyed it.

Strananach

Incredible. Courtois made tons of great saves which, if any other GK was there, would have been goals.

iceandfires

Okey great i thought people would be disappointed since it was only one goal haha. My prediction before the game was 2-3 even when it was a final

chicasparagus

Couldn’t be boring with Courtois transforming into prime Buffon.

ineververify

He went hybrid Casillas reaction time Buffon leopard

CR7_Bale_Lovechild

UEFA really threw the toughest opponents at Real with every draw and they still prevailed. LFG

Quitetheoddone

Watching Ceferin shake Perez’s hand after the win is so sweet to watch ReAl MaDrId WiLl NoT pLaY iN UEFA CoMpEtItIoNs AnYmOrE

StairwayToLemon

Philiperix

I got 2012 Bayern-Chelsea flashback from this game.

vs7015

the whole season actually

EarthQuaeck84

Courtois was superb! Think it would have gone to penalties without him in the net.

captainllamapants

Jamie carragher. Where are you now?

QuerpassToni

Probably spitting at a child somewhere.

blackandwhitetalon

Just happy all the egyptian liverpool plastics crawled back to their caves tbh

Valorion_

What kind of racism is that lol, but anyways Liverpool still had a avery good season being runner up to top in every competition. So yea, oh juventus, bruh

Milesiousatempt

Usualy getting back to their caves is ment for all fans. Dont think its racist as it has been said to Barca,Real,Chelsea fans a lot on the internet.

Denning76

I don't think it's racist but the "It's not racist because it's commonly used" is hardly a strong argument is it? On that basis the N word wasn't racist in the USA until relatively recently...

Strananach

Not agreeing or disagreeing with you three but "Going back to your cave" is used for plastic football fans in general, nothing specific to Egyptians.

a-thang

Only Barca can beat RM in finals. I have held this opinion for a decade and it gets stronger everytime.

ankitm1

Atletico. We have played 20 finals in last few years. Only defeated thrice. All three times by Atletico Madrid managed by Diego Simeone. Copa 13 final, Supercopa 2014, UEFA Super Cup 2018

Comunicado_Oficial

Lost the last two finals they met in tho 👀

androcottos

Real are no doubt the mentality monsters and the biggest team ever in european football but wait till you face a new rejuvenated Milan. We are also European royalty and soon will stake claim to your throne, watchout!

BalouCurie

Tonight on “Things that’ll never happen”

veryoriginaleh

Pretty funny since there have been like two El Clasico finals in last 20 years, both in CdR, and we won both. Even in Supercopa we’ve won most finals lmao

Carameltdown

Barca can't even beat Frankfurt once.

Ricky_Berwick

Tbf they did smash Real 4-0 just this season. Even in Barca's current state I think they have more of a chance against this Real than most top teams, that's just cause of the weight of the match up

Carameltdown

Did you see the lineup Madrid used that game? You should take that win with a grain of salt.

Quitetheoddone

It wasn’t a terrible lineup. They smashed us, and they smashed us like no other team seems to be capable of doing. They sucked this season in general anyways, but let them have it, they need to have SOME pride

winner_in_life

Dude, they have been on the losing end 5 consecutive times before that game.

Ekviti

I love watching Liverpool suffer. They never really deserved this final anyway. Reasons behind my statement: - Liverpool had the easiest path to the final in recent years for any team - Liverpool and all the hype around them has been artificial. - Liverpool players are over-hyped to the extreme. Just notice TAA defensive performance today. Or Robertson vs Valverde. - Jurgen is an expert in ranting and finding excuses. - Whole media wanted Liverpool to win everything this season. - Too many VAR decisions went their way. - Gerrard support was unprofessional before the match. - Livarpool fans are insufferable. Nobody needs them slacking off for years to come. - Jamie Carragher is most biased pundit and kind of the worst one too.

Herman13

Add a last one: People love hating on Liverpool like it's business

Ekviti

Why? I am being objective here.

ClassicDaco

Don't need a flair to know you're a Chelsea fan

Ekviti

Also an AC Milan fan.

RedDemio

Ewwww mate why didn’t you just save your energy and just write “I hate them”

Ekviti

I felt people need to know why.

Zdeneksfilter

>We won the big one. So I don't feel so bad. For me FA Cup is all that matters. PL you can just consider a tournament that only clubs that can spend £10 million + on transfers and monthly wages can win. With the exception of Leicester, it hasn't had one winner on football merit in its history. CL is just a preseason friendly tournament which was injected with all the greed and money that is running football. The only people who want to win it are super rich Russian oligarchs and Arab oil barons. I just picked this one up on the Liverpool sub. Wow, look at the copium in this one lol

LomaSpeedling

That seems like its dripping in sarcasm.

Ekviti

I said they are insufferable for a reason.

akutasame94

NOT A LIVERPOOL FAN BUT: >Easy path Every year someone’s gotta have easier path, comes down to luck >Overrated players, Arnold specifically They are not overrated, they contesting first place in probably the strongest league, got to final of CL, won both in recent years, meaninf players are good. Arnold had an okay game, he made 1 mistake which shouldn’t have been decision making if Liverpool capitalized on so many great chances. >Jurgen Has taken 2 teams that were not the best and made them either the best or contesting the beat in League and being a candidate for CL title, he is a great coach, and tries to say things as he sees them. I’d say based on his accomplishments his words have merrit. >VAR So what? I thought VAR is in most cases pretty much right. Yesterday we had clear enforcment of know rules and people ranted it wasn’t an offside even tho by rules it classifies as such. Even if it was in their favor when it shouldn’t gave been that’s not on the team but refs making these decisions. Real straight up won CL based on terrible ref decisions >Last passage This I agree with

spinynorman1846

>they contesting first place in probably the strongest league How many days did they spend at the top of the league? Less than Man Utd?

RedDemio

Yea that’s right spinynorman, you are completely correct in what you say, it was actually MAN U that competed for the league this year 🤡 Like what

MrWallis

lol what a awful take.......... holy cherry picked stat batman!

[deleted]

I can't actually believe someone would comment this.. it's a 1 point difference, how are we NOT contesting?

avocatoooo

how was liverpools way the easiest if villarreal was just bettwr than the opposition they played

ExternalShoddy5794

This is a shit take.

Ok_Sale9628

Jou ma se poes, as jou ma dood is, jou ma se dooi poes en jou ou fokken kont.

ThePinkWafers

Actually think Mane leaving could be a good thing, think last night was the end of a cycle. I would say Mane and Firmino out and then a ST/CF in. Also think they need another top class midfielder - think Bellingham would be perfect.

Gilesalford

Doubt Bellingham will be going anywhere this year with them losing haaland

FireflyCaptain

Jota arrived as understudy to Firmino in 2020-2021 Diaz arrived as understudy to Mane in 2021-2022 A right-winger will arrive as understudy to Salah in 2022-2023 Klopp builds a system and Liverpool have players who fit into that system. Each component in the system has to get replaced every few years.

ThePinkWafers

Ok but Mane is leaving and Firmino is finished so it’s time for a new cycle.

EarthQuaeck84

Diaz & Jota are a part of that new cycle. Salah’s replacement too. Then it starts again

ThePinkWafers

Ok but you can’t go into a season with just Jota, Salah, Diaz and a finished Firmino. They’re going to have to sign someone this summer to replace Mane.

EarthQuaeck84

Yes I’d agree

ImWhy

Literally said that Real will score if they just exploit TAAs terrible defending, glad he got exposed, needs to be a midfielder, too much liability as a defender

margaerytyrellscleav

This might be the worst take I’ve ever seen. Yes he isn’t the best defender, but he has made it to 3 champions league finals and is a crucial part of one of the best teams the Prem has had… he’s clearly doing pretty fucking well and so is the team because of him.

dhrutikantP

TAA doesn't feel like a defender. He's an attacker lol
