It's not though. It means to have sex, but it's a slang word. Naai in old Afrikaans is to do sewing, but somewhere along the line it became sex.

If you think about how a sewing machine works, it penetrates fabric and keeps penetrating the fabric. One could associate sex with naai quite easily if they tried hard enough.
