Director Gregory Dark's contemporary B-movie gorefest has all the necessary trappings to leave genre fans satisfied, and others slightly nauseous. The scene is set when a group of juvenile delinquents arrive at a roach-infested ruin of a hotel, where they have agreed to work in exchange for lighter sentences. They are led by a cop who lost his hand four years ago in a struggle with a brutal serial killer whom he killed with a bullet to the head--or so he thought. Now, the very same hulking monster, played by WWE wrestler Kane, haunts the halls of the dilapidated hotel, and with no further ado begins picking off the teenagers one by one. He metes out his own brand of justice: having been taught as a child by his punishingly Christian mother that the eyes--the windows to the soul--must be cleaned to please God, he gouges out the eyes of each of his victims. The camera does not shy away from this or any other terifically squirm-inducing action, while the hyperkinetic editing maintains a head-spinning pace. The characters remain one-dimensional and stereotypical, true to teen slasher tradition, but there are enough twists and gleeful scares to make it well worth the while.

It was July 7th, 2011.

While investigating reports of unlawful weapons trafficking,
peacekeeping forces encountered an unclassified carnivorous
species occupying a small village in Northern Africa. These
rabid creatures were easily provoked and resistant to
conventional attack. Eight specimens were encountered in the
region now referred to as Ground:ALPHA... Only four were
successfully contained for study. Victims of the attack were
quarantined at a research facility nearby. These victims
displayed signs of internal liquefaction and accelerated
necrosis, similar to symptoms of other flesh-eating viruses
native to that region.

But it wasnt a viral outbreak. It was a parasitic
infestation. A previously unidentified species of hook worm
was found beneath the skin of the Ground: ALPHA specimens.
These parasites, we call them Alpha-worms, laid dozens of
eggs inside their hosts, which in turn produced numerous
larvae. These larvae penetrated the bloodstream and triggered
a variety of genetic failures. However, unlike most genetic
failures, these symptoms were not fatal. Instead, infested
victims were larger, stronger and driven by hunger. Using the
research gained from the Ground: ALPHA specimens, a team of
some special individuals were assembled. Minor outbreaks
occurred over the next few years, but elite squad quickly put
them down. Which brings us to the current situation in
Tokyo...

Le projet Enigma

Au départ, un projet musical, créé par Michael Cretu en 1990 et dans lequel participe activement Frank Peterson, son collaborateur-assistant et sa femme Sandra Cretu depuis le début. Franck Peterson était compositeur et producteur mais n?a participé qu?au premier single. Michael est lui aussi compositeur et producteur tandis que Sandra prête sa voix dans plusieurs titres.

Enigma s?est fait connaître par son premier album où les chants grégoriens (MCMXC a.D.) étaient omniprésents. Depuis ont aussi été utilisés des instruments originaires de l?Orient (The Cross of Changes, Le roi est mort, vive le roi) ainsi que des sons électroniques plus modernes (Screen Behind the Mirror, Voyageur). Le premier succès commercial est venu du single Sadeness, où les chants grégoriens se juxtaposaient à un rythme et des voix très sensuelles ; une grande partie de la musique appelée New Age (ou encore Mood music) s?inspire d?ailleurs de ce premier album. Le deuxième titre le plus connu d?Enigma est certainement Return to Innocence dont le clip vidéo est mémorable pour son idée originale : le suivi de la vie d?une personne à l?envers, de sa mort à sa naissance.

Michael Cretu a su produire une musique de grande qualité et très diverse dans tous ses albums, comme l'album A posteriori, plus électronique. Chaque album comporte une introduction immédiatement reconnaissable suivie d?une voix féminine qui vous invite à un nouveau voyage.

La musique d?Enigma s?attaque à différents sujets comme la sexualité (très présente, surtout dans MCMXC a.D.), l?amour, la foi en Dieu (Morphing thru Time) et l?innocence. Michael décrit sa musique comme sensuelle, pas sexuelle, ce qui est effectivement très différent.

"Trust" is the first song on Megadeth's seventh studio album Cryptic Writings. It was released on May 8, 1997 in both English and Spanish language versions. The song had significant airplay and MTV rotation and reached #5 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, making it Megadeth's most successful single to date followed by "Breadline" and "Crush 'Em" from their follow-up album Risk, both of which reached #6 in the same charts. It was later included on the three compilation albums, Capitol Punishment, Back to the Start and Anthology: Set the World Afire, and the box set Warchest.

The song tells the story of relationships that have failed due to mutual dishonesty.The song was nominated for a Grammy award in January 1998 for best heavy metal performance.A "Spanish" version of the song was used as a single b-side and on the reissue of Cryptic Writings, however only the chorus is in Spanish. The song is otherwise identical to its album counterpart in verse.

The drum intro of the song is currently played right before kickoffs during each home game played by the Arizona State Sun Devils.
